@Kolarbear, there's no such thing as a square root of a negative number anyway, it's LITERALLY called an imaginary number, also, sh!t could be a negative number

@FIamethrower, imaginary is actually a misnomer. Complex numbers are very much a real thing that have actual impact on everyday society. AC current is perfectly explainable mathematically if one uses complex numbers. Many real world differential equations only have solutions if one considers complex roots of the characteristic polynomial. Ok math lecture over.

@Kolarbear, you're right. They put the exponent outside of the square root, meaning you'd be squaring a non real number. That's what my calculator did

@The Vergence, Found this convo in random section and it seems I have to explain math. First you do the square root which gives (sqrt(shjt)*i)^2. Square this gives shjt*i^2. and i^2 is -1. So it's -shjt.
