Let them die.
@Medic135, I agree
@Medic135, RIP LGBTQRSTUV
@A Monty, I thought it was just LGBT... they're evolving?!?
@Imaginaut, soon it'll just be the alphabet
@theshadosnipe, *takes off sunglasses* mother of god...
@Medic135, the stupid don't deserve the air they breathe
@Medic135, i was on complete agreement with the guy posting the large rants until i read these three magic words
@Medic135, it's natural selection for a reason
@A Monty, HA! LGBTQRSTUVWXYZ+++
@Medic135, natural selection
@Medic135, I'm sorry I have to share, I was your 100th like
@the pil0t, have a like yourself sir
@Medic135, if he/she/them/their/it dies, then he/she/them/their/it dies
@CMNDR BUbbles, how dare you forget "zed and zem". Hater!!
@Medic135, Cull the weak.
Its natural selection doing its job.
@Medic135, I find it refreshing that you have so many likes
@King Spunkmonkey, it's a first for me
@Medic135, in all honesty, you should still have top comment. The number of upvotes greatly outnumbers the downvotes.
What if you like actually are an attack helicopter though?
@Xiphose, then you will have more serious problems to consider, like how you're going to get out of the ambulance.
@Empshok, how did you get IN to the ambulance?
@Xiphose, Transformers! Robots in disguise!
*Rides in on snowflake horse.*
As a transgender, I actually agree with this statement. I feel as if too many young Trans-people are in for it because it's different and weird. I have many young friends that try to make it such a huge deal out of it which I don't understand. And yes, they have gotten in health related issues BECAUSE of that ANGST. There is nothing wrong about being yourself but fact of reality is that if your a transgender, you have a different sex to identify as before the transition and ignoring that fact because it makes one feel uncomfortable or upset in anyway, is a rather irresponsible reaction for one's own health. Doctors need to know that information.
Alright. Thanks for the high horse moment. I'm out.
*Tries to ride away, but snowflake horse has melted.*
@JacieTwisted, so after you transition, does your gender in forms remains the same or do you change it to the gender you transitioned into? Because I know you can change your gender in ID cards but lets say you were a woman wouldnt your body have risk factors as a woman or will that change because of the hormonal treatment? Im genuinely curious.
As I'm in my last year of nursing school, I feel I should say a few things. Nursing is both a science as well as an art. I understand people who identify as a different gender, okay, great, fine by me. I'll still treat you the same as any other patient I have. However, please don't mess around with forms like this. There are genetic factors that can be sex linked. I'll be a respectful human to you if you are a respectful human to me
edit-Sorry for the long post, this just really hits home being in this profession and all
Medically, yes. I don't care in a social sense, that's the whole point, it doesn't matter cause we are all just people.
Wtf does genderqueer even mean? Gender-weird? Im perplexed
@CompleteSavage, basically. It means they aren't content to be a guy or gal, and instead decide to be "Something inbetween" and/or parts of both at the same time
@CompleteSavage, Forever transitioning. On all levels except physical they are their ideal gender.
Can we stop with the "snowflake" thing? There are just as many butthurt liberals as butthurt conservatives. It's a stupid phrase created by an equally stupid millennial attention seeker.
@SchroedingerPussPuss, I don't really care for the phrase either, but it's easier than calling someone a stupid millennial attention seeker XP
@The white dude, the problem is- it's not being used like that anymore. It's a blanket statement for all liberals. I do love the observation that conservatives should be called snowflakes- they're cold, white and when you gather enough of them together, they can shut down schools.
@SchroedingerPussPuss, at this point it's just a word people throw in your face when they don't want to here someone else's opinion or have an actual conversation. People will call you racist, snowflake, sexists, and even a "literal nazi" just to discredit what they have to say. It's a stupd, pathetic thing, that both sides have sadly made their go to in any argument. It's essentially adults calling each other mean names as if their children, that's why I don't care for it
@SchroedingerPussPuss, I see the word used more to describe people who think that their opinion is expressly correct, or that dissenting opinions shouldn't be allowed near them(I.e safe space). The use of "special snowflake" is because, like one of a kind snowflakes, they are a different type of people compared to everyone else in history to generally understood that people have different opinions and that life isn't always fair but just got on with their lives instead of trying to restrict/censor or even resort to violence as some have recently(of course their are random cases throughout history but I said generally)
The OP totally missed that the form was marked "female/genderqueer" which kinda negated his whole rant...
So who's the sensitive snowflake here, really?
Ugh, another one of these posts complaining about gender defiant people? I still have yet to meet one of these fvckers and yet I still have to see people complaining about them on practically every site I visit every day. Why are people so offended by these gender defiant people to the point that they feel compelled to b#tch about it every day?
Yeah it's weird, and often super stupid. So get some aloe for your sore as#hole and get over it. Damn
@ourbedtimedreams, There are a lot of closet genderqueers that only tell people through the internet, that's why there's more you see on the internet. Also the person who filled out this form is still stupid.
Dunno, I wouldn't have a problem with then getting hurt
Ice Bear identifies as Ice Bear
Woo more rants
This is natural selection. Why are you giving them pointers?
But like, gender expression is a real thing, there's studies and proof, sex is biological but gender is what you identify as and it really sucks that everyone seems to think it's just angsty teens who have different gender identities, and what do you care that they have them? It's literally just who they are, and I'm not saying you shouldn't put your biological sex on things like this but I'm talking to the people who are calling them special snowflakes when it's just how people express themselves, and they don't happen to identify as close minded d!cks like some of these comments
It's funny how a person who is butt hurt about someone making a joke on a insurance form is calling THEM a snowflake.
@iOS10, It's an insurance form, that person shouldn't be making a joke on it. What he did was help any other "genderqueer" people that would consider doing that by telling them why it only says male and female as opposed to some made up gender.
Tl;dr: Only a snowflake would think saying "genderqueer" on an insurance form is important.
@Strident, only a snowflake would be butt hurt about a joke on a form.
Sounds like somethin Rick would say...not enough *buurrpps* tho.
"Quick! She is hemorrhaging fast, we have to apply pressure."
"Did you just assume my gender?"
Imagine if they just made it a thing where they ask you what your chromosomes are
Shared this to Facebook. I made sure to let all the special snowflakes know they should read it.
I agree. Also too many people don't know the difference between sex and gender.
