@Commander Peanuts, Well, technically the Dwemmer all were disintegrated by a magic ritual that was supposed to make them immortal

@Dexios S Divine, Yeah, they attempted to preform a ritual to turn their entire race into gods, but it backfired and all of that was ever found was empty suits of armor, so no one really knows what happened.

@Langenator, Last I checked it was more of an accident as a bunch of ancient heroes were scrambling for the Heart of Lorkhan and in the ensuing fight the Dwemer were wiped from existence with only their machines left and the heroes around to become the Dunmer Tribunal Gods.

@Yog Sothoth, you mean the guy who was a puppet for the thalmor to force the increasingly resistant empire to get back in line with them? The stormcloaks may not be the enemy, but they're inadvertently helping them.

@Yog Sothoth, I don't think he's racist, but he sure isn't doing anything to combat racial issues in any meaningful way. That said I support the Stormcloaks because of freedom of thought and fighting against an empire subjugated by religious zealots.

@Yog Sothoth, If you ask a certain Nord in Windhelm they mention that Ulfric doesn't care for anyone that's not Nord, the guy says that if a khajit caravan or argonian family is attacked in Windhelms territory he ignores it but if anything happens to nords he sends soldiers

Imagine an elder scrolls game that takes place during an industrial revolution, it would be like steam punk with magik.
"Skyrim belongs to the Nords! We tortured, enslaved, mutilated, and forced the dwemer into hiding fair and square!" Edit: I realize now I am talking about the falmer and that the dwemer mutilated them after the Nords drove them underground, but I think my point still stands
