Work 3rd shift in a factory of shjt that always breaks down, can confirm first shift is never happy when I tell them what went wrong last night
@dadood fromcheers, working retail, they never like to hear things like: that pallet didn't come in yet, or, here's what's wrong with the main cash register. We don't have the same staff so alot of problems linger for dayshift. Sucks for us unable to solve the problem and sucks for day shift getting more work load.
@dadood fromcheers, I worked at a factory (that shjt always broke also) that had 2 12hour shifts that rotated. Night shift had no support and 1 on-call maintenance so we limped through most nights or had to completely shut down. Day shift always had to work extra hard to get things fixed, running smooth and make up lost time. Although I experienced both shifts with both problems I always hated the opposite shift of what I was working.
@Dephenistrator, not sure which company you work for, but if one of my managers calls me about a problem, I can get someone there overnight, so long as a manager or key holder is there.
@Not him again, I only don't wanna say because I don't like leaving clues to myself on the net, especially somewhere that I've had debates with people but my store was pretty bad because we had a drunk for a supervisor and a manager who didn't care if he left the shift because "he had a headache" and couldn't talk or think well that night. it doesn't matter much anymore. I have changed jobs twice since then and that store was sold since for not selling much. No one good there lost a job either which was nice they just went to another location across town.
@Dephenistrator, so a small company then?
@Not him again, a pretty big one actually
Try that in a machine shop and they all cover for each other, no one know who continued the setup or how the machine crashed and ruined a 80,000 dollar part. No one saw anything and paper work is missing
@megamanx181x, that's true friendship
Try working security at a "skill game arcade". The stories you'll have for the day shift.
@ Emco567, those still exist?
@Not him again, to a Gambler, yes.
Will you also explain what happened during cropping shift?
@Slovak Guy , *lights a paper on fire
"Allow me to explain...."
