Not using the metric system
Yes but how many stones does the cow weigh?
@Funny Pics Janitor, I don't think Americans ever used stones to measure weight though. This does equate to a fathom however.
@Funny Pics Janitor, "enough"
@satan of the north, I think that was the point of the comment. Everyone is calling us out for having weird, object-based measurements, when the UK is using similar tactics.
@Have An Upvote, can I have one?
@Have An Upvote, you know that's spanish for "6 feet," right?
Or the distance of 1 soviet ptrd 41
@Greathoneybagger88, I like your style. rather have the PTRS 41 though myself
Yeah but in ruraltalk 1 cow translates to six feet, idiot.
Right, 'cause Americans are the only humans that use objects to help visualize approximations. These are kinda getting old fast.
If you think Americans don't use the metric system, you've never worked on an American made car before. Let my dad borrow my F150 over the weekend to haul some water softener salt, and apparently the battery went dead, and I said well go get a new battery and I'll pay you back, it's a 13mm for the terminals and an 8mm for the tie down, and he called bs, and I said ok, if I'm wrong, I'll pay for the battery, if I'm right, you will. He agreed. Guess who got a new battery for free?
Note: I have never put a battery in that truck before, I just know dumb shjt like that off the top of my head.
That cow only had 4 feet
Your mom is not 6 feet
Where I live, BC, our parks have a picture of an eagle. But also a cougar...which isn’t nice...since you know hiking, but it’s a nice reminder they’re watching. Always watching 👀
