@Agent99, one Time, we were out of cereal, soooo my mom just made chocolate chip cookies for me. It was awesome
@Agent99, story of my life
I cant Face-palm hard enough.....
Hey you know maybe some rich black people thought it was funny too
@new username 1, maybe, I doubt it because studies have shown that when it comes to families, every rich household has a poor relative, but varies on how closely related. For black and Latino families, the relationship will be sibling, parent, and or first cousin. For a high portion of white families, it would be first or second cousin. Basically the concept of wealthy vs. rich.
@bronze512, thank you
@new username 1, yeah, why does it matter that she's white?
Or, you know, you could try something called EXERCISE
Who lives off of $133 a month? I worked a minimum wage job and made more than that.
@Richard Cypher, it's $133 for food only, meaning they make more than that but due to bills and expenses, they only have that in their food budget.
@bronze512, my mistake. i didnt see that part but still $133 a month just for just food still not bad. I spend $30-50 every couple weeks on groceries for myself
@Richard Cypher, My budget right now is about $200 to cover food, gas, and other expenses. I still eat full meals that aren't just a PB&J and I still eat away from home sometimes. It's quite liveable. $133 per month for strictly food isn't poverty. It's tighter living, but not poverty.
@Emc2, where do you live??????!!!! I spend $200/week on groceries (2 ppl + cat). There is no ice cream, no lollies. We eat well, but also pretty basic. Sausages/chicken, potato & veges. No desserts.
@Emc2, exactly what i was saying. It is still plenty of money to live on for food. If you are blowing it all on fancy restaurants every night sure it won't last long but most people dont live like that anyway
Its like she came right out of the hunger games capital
It's actually not hard to live off that amount a month. You just cook everything yourself and skip the restaurants and junk foods.

@Temporary Raven1313, Nice name by the way how are the daily duties coming?
@No Off Switch, great! Thank you for asking!
Why does she deserve to be slapped? Why not educated? Why do liberals always want to resort to violence?
Having actually seen this segment of Varney's (the first guy) show, I can tell you that this is taken out of context. Andrea's (the woman) comments were in response to the mayor's gaffe comments made before he went on his "food stamp diet". Now, ladies and gentlemen, you can all fvck off.
@Matt1776, thank goodness someone said it
Man I pay almost $200 every two weeks on food for three people. I couldn't do it.
Well I think if the ppl on welfare would get there fat butts up and do something they wouldn't be poor and on the other hand all the dumb factories went and took all the work and sent it to china and other country's soo they don't half to pay them that much to do the work sorry for the long comment and if anything is misspelled
@Lobster Belkin , this is a comment from someone young who has no idea how less fortunate people have to live. Someone inexperienced at least somewhat well off, whose only heard what higher class families say about those without the same opportunities. Just get a job, right? Just get a job... you my friend, are not aware of how life outside your parents financial umbrella works.
@ClamSoda, He does have somewhat of a point, there are a lot of people living off of welfare and not looking for a job. The point of welfare is to help you in tough times so that eventually you won't need it, but too many people abuse that system and make collecting welfare their only job.
That was pretty much my food budget in college. Starving student is really no joke. I would eat half a sandwich for breakfast and the other half for dinner and if i was still hungry eat beans rice cheese burritos for $1!
Interestingly enough living in poverty in America you trend to gain wait because all you can afford its crap food like ramen and McDonalds
I understood this as she's thinking about eating the actual money itself...
Holy cow! Netflix was $83 a share!
It's funny because of the F word.
