Okay thinking back to it sky kids was an anime it seems to have almost all the qualities of an anime but it's just live action
Change my mind
@LAVARAMEN, because its live acton instead of Japanese style animation? What makes an anime an anime other than the style of medium? (I don't watch anime so I have no idea.)
@Commander Peanuts, well the emotions here seem amplified than normal and the scenario sounds like something out of an anime too and last but not least the values. The values are usually pretty obvious and are usually the foundation but there are other things I probably missed too
@LAVARAMEN, huh. I wouldn't necessarily ascribe those attributes to anime only, but I think I see what you mean.
@Commander Peanuts, of course it's not exclusive to anime I agree but they kind of come together in what can only be described as anime
Also another thing, how cheesy it can get at times
@LAVARAMEN, I'd describe it as pulp fiction. It was initially a genre assigned to comics but it applies pretty well to movies like spy kids. Cheaply made but exaggerated style and writing to create a vibrant story and setting. But I don't think I've ever seen it used as a movie genre, just a title, so that's just what I would call it.
@Commander Peanuts, well I haven't seen pulp fiction only know references but I'll take your word for it
@LAVARAMEN, no the genre is different from the movie. Look up pulp fiction comics. It's where the term actually comes from.
@LAVARAMEN, I mean Spy Kids 3 is basically Sword Art Online so you might be onto something here.
Is that optimus bumblebee
@TheBigJ, nope. It's The Guy.
Huh. So she's a trap specialist...
