So in D&D I got myself a squirrel familiar. Nothing special. Like a normal squirrel. Well I found out that last week that if you use any enchanted item on a normal creature that improves their intelligence, they become "awoken" and become a lot more human in their thinking. I can tell you hes like a devil on my shoulder, and he is glorious.
@ThePandaPool , you should give him a little weapon to carry around
@The Unknowns, I'm not sure yet. The party also has a talking cursed dagger that I may encourage him to steal. He seems like he wants to be a spellcaster though.
@ThePandaPool , Oh my god you're Squirrel Girl.

As a kid I found an injured bird lying on the main road after a card had just passed, it was snowing so my parents couldn’t get the car out of the drive (didn’t live in the main road) and so I couldn’t get it to the vet. I took the bird home and checked his wings, nothing was broken but he wouldn’t fly. He spent three days in a warm dark box with seed. Three days later the snow had mostly melted, my dad opened the box outside and the bird flew away - I had named him ‘Sparky’.
Hey sparky, thanks for that, happened at University of South Florida. He saved my ass
