The folly of having some intelligence
@megamanx181x, there are loads of studies that show that having a higher IQ doesn't just lead to mental health problems but real physiological ones such as auto immune conditions due to prolonged stress on the body. Ignorance really is fracking bliss
@Kayda, didn’t need a study to know what I’m dealing with
Music relieves stress
Cats relieve stress
Tea relieves stress
Comedy relieves stress
I'm fortunate enough to have all 4.
Ignorance truly is bliss
And then they crap on u for not doing anything with ur life witch just spirals you down. Ya... good life...
Read some Brandon Sanderson, you’ll probably feel better
Guess you're not that smart, after all.
@Sluggernot, Nah there really are people out there who are extremely intelligent but don’t give a shjt. I finished close to a 4 GPA in high school from working hard but I knew some really sharp people that had like 2.5 because they didn’t care.
@TriangleTesticles, yes, lazy people exist, wasting their talents and playing the blame game.
But still reading books
That’s how I felt in school and unfortunately it’s stuck with me for life
I’ve often wished that I was less intelligent. It’s probably why I get high so often.
If this is you try reading mindset by carol dweck. It’s about intelligence and how we perceive it and I remember there was a part which talked specifically about how the “smart” kids in school end up as average or below adults. Very interesting read
Ah frame for frame of my life. Noice
To quote Mrs. Yellowbeard “learning never taught me anything and books is the worst. Last time I read a book...I was raped. Let that be a lesson for ya. “
