@Culdogg, I apologize for the ignorance of some of my fellow U.S.-ians. In their defense, our school systems here are a bit weak in the international department. If it is not about how another country fücked up, war or how they have directly affected the U.S., we do not learn it. Sorry for the heat, I'm sure it is brutal there.

@Totally Not The NSA, Apology graciously accepted my friend. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely understand that each country will will focus their educational systems mainly based on their own little part of this blue marble we share. I just thought that it was common knowledge that different parts of the world endure different seasons simultaneously. I guess that makes me the ignorant one?

@Squirtlesgirdle, No question is a stupid question if it helps you attain knowledge :) In Australia we call June/July/August winter as those are our coldest months, and December/January/February is summer as they're our hottest months. I'd love to visit Canada some day. My dad went a while ago and said it's beautiful there.
