Calanthe brought this upon herself and Cintra. I liked her character but she was a bit of a dumbass
@The Landshark , Not trying to sound like a book elitist here, but her character is more likeable in the book. She isn't such a dick towards Geralt.
@Murder Boner, in my opinion the show was ruined for me since it lacked a lot of the intelligent subtlety and politics of the courts/character interactions found in the books and games, plus the moral ambiguity was never there, there was always a stark difference between right and wrong which really just came off as childish to me.
*gets ready for hate due to my unpopular opinion* My body is ready for the downvotes.
@Murder Boner, I empathize with her dickishness since, she'd be giving away the last memory of her daughter, her own flesh and blood, to a guy that spends his days killing savage monsters and isn't exactly liked by the populace. She should have listened to everyone though
@Murder Boner, I was expecting that no character in the show was intended to be 100% likable. Like, if the first episode she featured in, where her castle was sieged, she seemed Loretta decent. Then she made a whole fvcking fool of herself in the episode where she meets Geralt. Everyone was flawed, but most in very redeemable ways.
No one expects the Senate Inquisition.
Surprise, I'm the senate!
If I was a king and someone called that on me, I’d jerk off into my hand and then give them a handshake
Everyone: OMG wtf have you done??
@Thane of Deez, had the same reaction when my wife said she was pregnant....both times
