@Dephenistrator, the wii outsold the original nes, it was a smash hit. At least Nintendo is trying to innovate.

@CrazyRightWinger, they largely gave up competing in the serious gamer world. There can't even be an elderscrolls game on their consoles. They still have occasional good games but they are veered sharply towards younger kids and cheaper equipment. Most their good stuff now is sequels from their better days.

@Dephenistrator, I see your point. Now they are like a companion to your Xbox or ps4, let's you play different kinds of games, but most if the ones you want are on those consoles.

For myself Im not a kid anymore and still am able to enjoy a good mario kart game with friends or a smash brawl. But I think I know what you mean nintendo games are mostly focused on a younger generation
