Hey you. Yes you, the one reading these comments. Don't scroll down. It's not worth it.
@Sam da ram, You da real MVP
@Sam da ram, Logan Paul did nothing wrong!
Happy new Year dear animals! 📣📣📣🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎆🎆🎆🎇🎇🎇
Alright, so if you look at a map of ISIS controlled territory before Trump was elected and 1 year after, you can see that ISIS basically got their shït wrecked.
There's no denying it, Trump is at least the most competent president on the issue of terrorism in several decades. Much better than George W(MD) Bush and Barack I'll-bomb-ya.
Now, if only he could be talked out of putting more boots on the ground.
@Doctor Krieger, fvck off, trump didn't walk into the white house and press the magic "defeat isis" button on the wall that Obama forgot to hit. He walked into a situation where they were already broken and will continue to break. You're the same kind of person who will compare job creation in Obama's first hundred days vs trumps and say "look at how good trump is" the president isn't a magician who snaps his fingers and things happen, everything affects everything else. seriously stop believing anything dear leader says.
@Donald Drumpf, You're right. Trump didn't hit the "defeat ISIS" button when he walked into the White House. He told the generals to take charge and do what they had to do to get rid of ISIS, regardless of the laws of engagement (if your enemy isn't using them, why should you?).
@DjckIce, if your enemy isn't slaughtering civilians for their religious beliefs why shouldn't you? Excuse me for trying to be a better person than the terrorists. You want to start acting like them? Move to Syria, have fun. Also, no generals broke the rules of engagement. If they did there would've been a lot more uproar and they would've been fired and trump already in impeachment process.
@Donald Drumpf, looks like someone is triggered by evidence. I don't even like the dude, either, but he has had a few excellent policies. Certainly more than Obama or Bush.
@Donald Drumpf, Trump mostly just cooperated with Russia to defeat ISIS, rather than bombing 7 countries with drones or engaging in a massive illegal ground war.
Seriously, not treating Russia like Nazi Germany 2: Electric Boogaloo went a long way, then the rest was basically him appointing some competent generals to his cabinet to actually get something substantial done, whether it be for better or worse.
But, hey, whinge on about impeaching orange Hitler for colluding to have diplomatic relations with Russia (Allah forbid!). That's worked well so far
@Doctor Krieger, dude you're about as nutty as the real doctor Krieger but no where near as smart
@The cold hearted man, that was a lazy insult. Try harder.
@Doctor Krieger, dude not an insult just an observation
@The cold hearted man, clearly an insult. Own it, man.
@Doctor Krieger, the president doesn't appoint generals, the military says "Hey appoint these guys" and then the president signs a paper, and that's every president mind you. Also, supporting genocide, invading your neighbors, killing reporters, all sound pretty Nazi ish to me
@Donald Drumpf, Hey, I bet you drink water and breathe air. Know who else did that? Hitler! You’re just like him! Seriously though; stop comparing people you don’t like to hitler, Trump has not incarcerated and then mass murdered millions through brutal methods. Nor has he claimed all the problems with this country are at the fault of a religious or ethnic group specifically. Yes there are racists and Naziism is still a real thing today but I don’t think Trump is one considering all that’s transpired in the past year. I don’t like him but Jesus man, hating someone so hard for the past couple of years now must get exhausting.
@WeekendsRoverrated, I was comparing putin to Hitler not trump which you would've known if you played attention instead of projecting. I'm pretty sure trump hasn't invaded Mexico or Canada yet, maybe pay attention to what someone besides dear leader says.
@Donald Drumpf, Oh I paid attention, read the end of your last comment “sounds pretty Nazi ish to me” you are projecting. Now I may have over done it with hitler I’ll admit that, but the argument is the same. Not looking to get into a political debate about who has done what, I loathe the subject all together. I just don’t like it when people don’t agree with each other, they start with the labels.
@WeekendsRoverrated, hey guys just your friendly lurker here, been here for a while now (even since before I was 17 how scandalous) and I’ve enjoyed reading people’s comments for years. Since comment sections seem to have become opinion pieces recently I’ve finally decided to throw in my 2 cents. Nobody cares. Can we please stop having these idiotic political arguments on a meme page. They’re not even constructive, nobody learns anything and nobody is given a rational view of the other side. It just takes away from the overall experience. We’re here for memes, no one gives a shjt if trump has stopped isis or hasn’t, personally I come here to get a brief rest from all the terrible stuff going on in the world. If you really care so much about these things go to political forums to rant or hell, go be politically active and join an activist group and try to change the world for the better, but please just try to refrain from bringing all this toxicity into this app.
-Your fellow memer
@Donald Drumpf, They didn't break the laws of engagement, but they would have had they thought it necessary. Laws of engagement is between armies. Civilians are protected by international laws and treaties, such as the Geneva Convention, neither international laws or treaties are considered laws of engagement. Civilians shouldn't be engaging with anyone, and if they are they are then considered combatants and both sides are free to shoot them. A law of engagement is "hostile fire may be returned effectively and promptly to stop a hostile attack". International law is what keeps armies from shooting civilian populations, not the laws of engagement.
Saddam had the right solution when he gassed them all
@AN AMERICAN, if we nuke an entire country so that none of it is hospitable, then there won't be any land disputes, thus ending the conflicts.
@AN AMERICAN, whoa dude. That's a little harsh.
@I Broke Benjamin, it just might be merciful in its own way, though. Not that I support the idea.
“What is Aleppo?”
-Gary Johnson, 2016 Libertarian Party nominee for president.
@JDPhi, You've got to give him credit for asking instead of trying to bullshįt his way through the interview.
@DjckIce, that’s a fair point, but considering that the Syrian civil war was at its height, and Aleppo was a key location of conflict, he still deserved ridicule for not being informed on a major diplomatic current event.
