i remember somewhere that cats think we're stupid hairless cats so they bring us stuff to survive. this must be part of that
@LeonelFreak, yeah, they don't register us as something different than them so when they lick us they're trying to clean us and when they bring you things they teaching you to hunt and you are not learning anything
@LeonelFreak, To be more specific, a man who studied cats for 30 years concluded that cats were never meant to be domesticated and think of humans as giant, lazy kittens. That is why they bring us stuff and clean us.
@realsteel98, animals in general weren't meant to be domesticated. But we're humans, so we said f*ck you and did it anyways
@FunnyPics Newscaster, Haha true
@realsteel98, exactly. I've heard that now the prevailing idea is that cats aren't domesticated at all, they just chill with us cause we're large (to protect them from predators) or cause they just see us as much larger cats that suck at being cats so they hunt for us in exchange for whatever we give them.
@LeonelFreak, I've heard the complete opposite, they see us as parental things because they only act around humans the same way they act around their actual kitty moms (kneading, meowing, purring etc). And bring as mice as proof that they're learning to hunt on their own. Especially if you raise them from a young age.
@Deanmon, I've never seen Siska comment on the pics where cats are mentioned. It's quite vexing
Thanks, but you should eat it, it looks like you could use some food to get your color back. Get it? Because the cat's a ginger and gingers are pale? I'll see myself out.
Look what the cat dragged in.
I don't give a rat's ass for this lunch
