First world problems with Teachers.
$45,000 a month? I think you accidentally a couple letters.
@onetoendall, I was just about to point that out haha
@onetoendall, "I think you accidentally a couple of letters"
@Mhael, Lol, it was intentional.
Is this trying to be satire or something? If so, it’s not doing it very well.
Depends on the state, my mom’s been teaching for 30 years and she just got 60,000$ per year. I’m probably going to have to start at below 30k per year. Also the three months off aren’t really off, setting up lesson plans, emailing or mailing new students the summer reading lists, professional development, lesson plan meetings, also, we have to stock our own classrooms because you assholes keep voting down levies, but even if it passes, the school board decides another Mac lab is a better idea than getting us basic supplies like paper, pencils and tissues. Teaching is a 24/7 job with a handful of days fully off in June. So, TL;DR: This pic may be the shjttiest take I have seen on FunnyPics in a while. Get educated before mouthing off about things you don’t understand, @Gotham
45k? Even if that were true you still have taxes, health insurance, union dues, and student loans. Then let’s not forget they have to be with children, preteens, and teenagers ALL DAY! Then they have to deal with parents, and grading. We should be thanking teachers for putting up with the youth of America because some times (a lot of times) they’re really dumb.
What teacher is making that kind of money? My gfs a special education teacher and she barely makes 50k a year with some benefits
@megamanx181x, go to texas. Starts at 50k take home and great benefits. If you're from oklahoma you'll feel right at home because half of Oklahoma's teachers are in Texas
Even if you’re broke teachers deserve to be paid more than that. It really shows the value and emphasis, or lack thereof, we put on education
Where is this teaching job you speak off? I would like to give them a piece of my mind and cv and resume.
