This becomes less awesome in college
@DustMonkey, for real. "That's great, Professor Morris but this class is only 55 minutes long and the midterm is next week and I legit paid $5000 to be here this year so STFU and teach me about ethics."
@TheGingerSnap, I have a physics professor right now who ends up on some completely random tangent and it pisses me off so bad. Typically I'd skip a class with a professor like that and just use other methods to learn during the class time but he counts attendance as well as gives in class assignments. Such bs
@DustMonkey, Except if they write the tests. Because then they'll take out the things they didn't cover because of their dumb stories.
@CriTiKa1, unless their a**holes
@DustMonkey, the struggle is real. 2 out of 4 of my geology profs do this
Of course we want to know about your weekend Mrs. Harlowe! Go on go on!
So this was my teacher, Mr. Castignoli, but we didn't ask him to and he never taught us anything all year and expected us to understand everything about science. Half of his class failed because of this. It's nice to get off topic sometimes but sucks if it's all the time...
until its test time & you dont know the material bcuz they were wasting time
My calc 4 teacher spent an entire class telling us about how he got lost in a forest searching for mushrooms.
And STILL gets his teaching done. This was my physics teacher.
But then the side track ends up as a question on the test...
Our teacher used to tell stories all class and school. I have one teacher for all school
That moment when you find a repost
Then you ask some stupid question just to make them go on...
