The Omnissiah approves (?)
I think Laura is confusing transgender with transhuman.
@Marida Cruz, I thought she meant Transformers
@ptitty1231, that wouldnt make sense, considering that transformers are 100% machine and also not real.
@Marida Cruz, but... robots in disguise
@ptitty1231, I know they're more than meets the eye, but would you really want them to be real? Earth gets almost destroyed over a dozen times across the franchise, after all. Probably lots of humans dying too.
Wow, ok. I guess Archer and trans people have two things in common. They both disappoint their parents, and they both take all MY GODDAMN CREDIT!
@Barry Dylan, hi Barry hows the leg
@dandyhandy, Me too! I've always wanted to be a cyborg.

This comment section has gone full flame war. Does anyone want to talk about something noncontroversial with me? I’m good at talking about Nintendo, swimming, and maybe dnd...
@Russian Fire Alarm, Any idea on the difficulty of replacing a battery in an N64 cartridge? Ocarina of Time wont save anymore and I believe that is one solution.
@BigBlackBalls, It couldn’t be that tricky, if you’ve got the tools to open the cartridge. Probably a tri-tip screwdriver is what Nintendo uses. I’d practice on a throwaway cartridge, first, though.
I read 'human and part machine' and all I heard was "General Kenobi" in Grievous' voice
Ok people, this is a warning, now is when we start to arm ourselves for the inevitable uprising of the machines.
@TheCoolestBean, Screw that noise. I for one welcome our robotic overlords. Would probably treat the planet better then we ever have. I will be the first one in line to leave my meat suit behind for cold hard steel. Fvck people. People suck. What with their religions, wars, genocides, wanton murders, general stupidity, lack of logical thinking and reasoning the list goes on. Robots ftw.
@LaDarkProphet, what makes you think that robots, made by humans, would treat the planet any better than humans? What makes you think that they wouldn't delve even farther into the Earth, and make more factory's, to mine for precious metals and fuel for themselves? As something created by the largest consumers on the planet, do you not think that they would take on our traits? If something manages to conquer humans, the most powerful thing on the planet, then I have no doubt in my mind they would adopt our ways. Especially if the conquerors were created by us. While yes people can be animals and heathens, with our rapes, and murders. We are also innovators, creating mechanical and artistic masterpieces. Religion isn't a bad thing either, and I'm not super religious, but religion gives hope. Without the hope and inspiration that religion gives, where do you think we'd be now? I guarantee we wouldn't be as far technologically, philosophically, or economically. 1/2
@LaDarkProphet, Humans are also not hardwired to act stupid, we are the smartest things on the planet. The stupid people merely scream the loudest, allowing them to tarnish the reputation of all as a whole. We are the most reasonable, logistically thinking animals on the planet. Humans aren't done yet, and by God should any robot try to take this planet from us, I hope they have to pry it from our cold dead hands. 2/2
@TheCoolestBean, I think you know very little about artificial intelligence, history and religion. The highest point of Religious power was during a little time we call The Dark Ages. Where very little technological, philosophical or artistic ideas progressed and instead stagnated. Religion is a cancer of the mind and holds humanity back. Why do you think that there is a correlation between higher education and being non-religious? Why do you think, in this age of free knowledge, that only now are people abandoning religion in the droves that they are? I assure you that humans can have hope without religion and to say otherwise is quite ignorant. Hope is a concept while religion is a dogma. As for robots, well in order to beat us they would have to be smarter then us. That would mean they would easily be able to see the stupidity in ravaging a planet. You have seen far to many movies my dude. (TBC)
@TheCoolestBean, (C) There is absolutely nothing to suggest that robots would be stupid enough to take on our darker nature. On the contrary, much like education being the antithesis of religion, so to would such superior beings be better then their creators. Not only would they be able to see the error of our ways but they would also be able to improve our "good" traits. If robots of the level say I-Robot where to come into existence then i truly think they would see that humans are the biggest threat to life on the planet, including themselves, and would rightly fear them. The logical thing to do at that point would be to either subjugate or eradicate. And smartest animals on the planet? How arrogant of you. Dolphins, whales, elephants and scores of other animals are far more intelligent then most ignorant humans give them credit for. Indeed its been recently discovered that some animals are on par with the average human. (TBC)
@TheCoolestBean, (C) Which means that by definition there are animals out there smarter then some humans. Hell ive heard of rats and birds that are smarter then some of the humans ive personally met. Corvids can use tools, remember human faces and recognize patterns. Im sure you know of a few people who cant even tie their own shoes let alone recognize patterns. Smh. Smartest things on the planet? Only a very select few of us my dude. The rest? Well as i said. Could be surpassed by rodents. And contrary to Stephen Hawking, i dont believe extra terrestrial intelligence, if it exists, would have the same traits we do. I think along the same vein as Neil Degrass Tyson. That there is nothing to suggest that aliens would share our traits in any way. Indeed i belive he is correct in saying that if aliens did exist and did happen by our planet they would find it devoid of intelligent life. Or, upon further inspection, find it full of barbarians. (TBC)
@TheCoolestBean, (FIN) And, not that i believe it will ever happen, if for some idiotic reason robots did decide to ravage the planet where do we have the ground to stand on and wag our fingers? Im serious, if robots destroy humanity and then decide to stupidly destroy the planet, by what right do we have to condemn them for it? Because they did it better then we ourselves did? No, i think not. Robots would be superior to us in every way and therefore would instead look to the stars for resources. Cause reality check. Earth is limited but the cosmos is not. If humans were to pull their head out of the ass for a microsecond they would realize this. But, as i said, sadly humans are indeed stupid pathetic creatures and i eagerly look forward to our eradication. Either by our own hands, mother nature herself, or by superior beings.
@LaDarkProphet, I may not know a lot about AI technology, but what I do know is history. The medieval ages were not the highest point of religious power. It was a high point of Christian religious power, not even the highest point of Christion power. Christianity held its power well into the 1950s. Religion in other parts of the world also indeed helped humanity, Confucionism helped with Chinese philosophy when it came to peace and neighborliness. Roman religion is what the empire was centered around, and without this religion they Romans would not have had the drive to advance technologically like they did. Utilizing the first European instance of composite steel in armor and swords, they made paved roads throughout the empire. They built huge and beautiful buildings that modern architecture is centered around. Religion is something that can give masses of people something to get behind and unite to. (TBC)
@LaDarkProphet, Without something to tell us that our lives are not futile and in the end there is nothing for us, most people would stagnate and stop. Because what's the point? If our lives are meaningless in the long run why even try? and that's what religion gives us, hope that in the end we earn something for our efforts. In the end we prove that it is meaningful to someone, anyone. Also to beat us you don't have to be smarter, its has been proven that you can be as dumb as a box of rocks and still win. This also has been proven in battle in multiple wars. What makes you believe that they could see our mistakes, robots are by the book. They will not, and cannot, experience pain, pleasure, memory, thought, touch, or breathe. Robots will not learn that we are killing ourselves with our consumption. They will see efficiency, and will attempt to replicate it. Robots will not see beauty as we do. We see that we are ending what we have and that is why we have conservation efforts.(TBC)
@TheCoolestBean, Yea stick with what you know bub. Although your wrong about history so maybe try to do a little more research cupcake. To say that robots cannot do those things or experience those things is so ridiculously arrogant and ignorant as to be laughable. I very much doubt you can explain why you yourself experiences thise things let alone understand how relatively easy it would be to replicate. Your lack of education is astounding. But judging by how fervently your defending religion im not surprised. Love how you ignored the fact that there is indeed a correlation between higher education and a lack of faith. Though im not surprised you would ignore that fact. Nor that you ignore the fact that humans are abandoning religion in droves because of easier access to higher education. And how absurd your statement is. Humans might as well give up because they have nothing to look forward to? How arrogant can one person be? (TBC)
@LaDarkProphet, Robots will see resources they need and suck the planet dry. Then, and only they would they look to the stars. You also used I-Robot as an example. Robots would see us as the biggest threat on thee planet, and would attempt to eradicate, you don't enslave roaches, you kill them all. They would attempt something unthought of by any man, woman, or child. The extinction of man. And you say that robots wouldn't take our dark side? Our dark sides are most like machines, unthinking, cold, brutal, the ends justify the means. Man is a machine, fueled by progress, and driven by knowledge. Learn from the history of man, for our creations will be reminiscent of ourselves. We as Humans are the smartest animals on the planet. An average person in a survival situation has the ability to out think animals, and forge tools out of neaby resources. We are able to identify patterns in our surroundings and with body language. (TBC)
@TheCoolestBean, (Fin) On the contrary. If you truly believe that you get a second chance why try at all? While im on the thought, if people truly believed in a concept as heaven then why dont more religious people seek death? Tell me that. If i truly believed in a afterlife of eternal bliss then i would take on the most dangerous jobs in the world in the hopes of dieing so i could go there. But you dont see that do you? No, because deep down you religious zealots understand that you get one life. Just one. I... i cant even form coherent sentences im so baffled by the stupidity you just spewd out. Not mad, or angry mind you. Just baffled. I need a minute.
@TheCoolestBean, O my lord did you really type that out? Good lord are you ignorant. If i took most humans and chucked them into the wild naked 90% of them would die. Most people wouldnt be able to survive without the internet for more then a few days let alone the wild elements. You give your generation far to much credit. How many people in your high school did you know could set traps, skin and butcher animals, where to find and purigy water? What plants are safe and which arnt? How yo navigate by sunlight and the stars? Make rudimentary shelter and clothes? I would guess maybe 2% of them unlesd you went ti a redneck high school like i did. Then the population rises to 40%. If your lucky. Holy crap your ignorance knows no bounds.
@TheCoolestBean, You know what? I figured out your problem. You have no concept of what it means to actually think logically without emotion. I dont think you even know what that means, smh. And on top of that since you admit you jack about A.I or robotics in general why dont you just move on? Its clear your to bigoted in your religious thinking to be able to think outside your little box. And its painfully clear i neither have the time, patience or etiquette to educate you on a subject you clearly know nothing about.
@LaDarkProphet, 1. Not fvcking done talking, you see the TBC, or to be continued? Means I'm not done.
2. Not here to talk about religion solely, here to talk about whether robots would be better than humans.
3. I said average human. Average as in moderately fit, moderately intelligent, and moderately logical. Or Average, dumbàss.
4. Do you know how to do any of that, because I know how to do some of it.
5. Dont insult me. Don patronize me. Dont tell me that I dont know how to think I without emotion. I came here to have a friendly discussion about an extinction level event by man made machines. I am not religious, I barely believe in God. If he's there he doesn't care anymore, if anyone here is hard headed and refuses to listen. Its you. I'm done. I dont normally just straight despise people, but those who refuse to even talk, like yourself, I dont interact with. Have a good day and good luck with your future comments. Dont bother to comment back.
@TheCoolestBean, 1. I know how to do all of it my dude. Among many other things including how to find raw ore and smelt it into tools. A lost art i admit.
2. The Average Human Being, by all known statistics is pretty pathetic.
3. I didn't insult you. You insulted yourself with faulty logic and reasoning. If your going to argue about a subject dont you think it would be wise to at least know the bare minimum? Your the one trying to argue about potential A.I gone bad when you dont know the first thing about A.I. How could i not call that out? Be like a flat earther arguing with a physicist. If you dont know the basics how do you have any room to argue?
4. You blatantly chose to ignore the facts in favor of faulty reasoning. The moment you did that was the moment i lost any hope that you were capable of thinking logically. Hence why i had no trouble interrupting you. Your going to ignore what i say then i have no reason to respond with respect.
@TheCoolestBean, 5. And im not surprised that your so angry 😂 As i said. Your to emotional. Getting angry over a F.P comment section really proves my point. How can someone claim to be rational when they get this upset? Laughable it is.
@LaDarkProphet, I have one thing to say. I told you not comment back. When I said I was done I means I'm done. Not because I'm angry, but because I find no purpose in talking to someone refuses to let the other person finish their points. I'm going to say this one more time and I'm gonna do it one word at a time so you understand. Don't. Bother. Commenting. Back.
I for one welcome our Phyrexian overlords.
All will be one!
Transgenderism is a stupid idealogy that can be disproven with only 3 question becouse of how entirely hypocritical it is.
@BlazingBowman, out of curiosity, what are the questions?
@Marida Cruz, 1. What do you identify as.
2 why do you identify as such.
3. Why does that make you that thing.
@BlazingBowman, I don't feel like that actually disproves being transgender or having gender dysphoria. It certainly weeds out the people who are claiming to be those things for attention, but there are definitely ways to answer those questions that could point to the person having actual gender dysphoria. Granted, those are very specific answers that most of the people going around claiming to be transgender probably won't be able to give, but they do exist.
@Marida Cruz, ive used these questions on lots of trannies. Normally they stop answering around the second because they cant defend their position. Transgenderism as a whole is a hypocritical set of ideas even with people with " dysphoria" its illogical to its core and these questions show that. For what does it mean to identify as a man or a woman. And as they give the only possible answers they can give to that question which essentially ammount to masculine and or feminine traits their hypocrisy is shown.
@BlazingBowman, I feel as though you may be incredibly biased on this subject, so I won't press further. I'll simply leave it at saying that I don't necessarily agree with everything you've said, since I don't see any point in arguing over it.
@Marida Cruz, okay. You do you man id love to discuss further but i see you cant defend your position like anyone else that advocates for this crap. No i wouldnt say im biased like I wouldnt say im biased against flat earthers or anti vaxers its all on the same level really.
@BlazingBowman, I was trying to be civil and close the discussion because it was incredibly obvious to me that there was absolutely no chance of either of us convincing the other, and because I don't care enough about your opinion to get into an argument to try and change it. You can't really claim that I can't defend my position, because I haven't stated my position, because I know that absolutely anyone who tries to start an argument about this kind of thing is the kind of person who's so biased in one direction or the other that there's no chance of convincing them that their position is flawed. As such, I tried to end the conversation because I don't care to pursue it any further. Which is why I'm absolutely baffled that you'd respond to this by claiming that I'm giving up when I'm not even trying to argue anything in the first place.
@Marida Cruz, yes civil is calling me unbelievably biased. Have a nice day dude.
@BlazingBowman, I didn't say unbelievably biased, I said incredibly, as in a substantial amount. That isn't an insult, it's an observation. And I sincerely hope that you have a nice day as well.
@Marida Cruz, sure it isnt sweeheart.
@BlazingBowman, are you saying you wouldn't think someone was biased if they called your stance wrong and hypocritical immediately after you stated it?
@Marida Cruz, look dude i gotta get to bed. I got work tommorow. So night but no i wouldnt.
@BlazingBowman, if you had to get to bed, then why fire back at my "have a nice day" with a sarcastic remark? And if you wouldn't assume someone is biased if they called your stance wrong or hypocritical, then why try to paint me as biased myself? And what's so bad about having a bias?
@BlazingBowman, Fair reporting isn't acting like both sides are equally valid. It's looking at the facts and being willing to call one side out on their sh💩t. So yeah, Marida was being civil. Not subservient, but civil.
@Jdrawer, what are you talking about?
@Marida Cruz, because you responded like an hour after i sent that.
@BlazingBowman, Mate leave it, you got torn apart here. Its been a week, let it die.
@airguitarpro, 1 i did let it go.
2. Im categorically in the right here despite public perception because he seemed more polite.
3. Youre the ones messaging me nonesense a week later.
@BlazingBowman, 1) You didn’t let it go as you’re still messaging Marida Cruz a week later. 2) How many times are you going to prove his/her point of the blatant demonstrations of your own self-bias? (3) This pic popped into recents and I saw this comment section for the first time. I saw you comment recently (50 minutes ago) so I thought I’d save you some face. I wouldn’t come back a week later for this pic nor this comment section, why would I?
@BlazingBowman, PS: you really seem to like the whole “three” trope. Just an observation.
@BlazingBowman, you should know, just because you believe something strongly, doesn’t make it correct. Everybody experiences life differently, due to genetics, location, home life and anomalies. You gotta try to be more understanding of the fact that not everyone thinks or feels like you.
thats how Matrix started, now look at its directors
