It was mr. Increable I know it.
Or someone dies their hair
@quinntastic , dyes her hair puts on a padded pair of jeans wears a girdle got a boob job n a face lift. U kno, shjt women do all the time to look like something they arent. But don't u dare be under 6 feet tall n a little pudgy cus youre not worthy of dating. Glad i got married when we were both hot n got fat together
@sikkdog, you uh... you wanna talk about it?
@quinntastic , or someone assumes only one gene is responsible for hair color, when actually multiple genes are involved. It is unlikely, but entirely possible, for a blonde and redhead to have a dark haired child. https://genetics.thetech.org/commonly-asked-questions
@Imp stormtrooper, lol love it. Nah im good buddy. Like i said. Glad i got married when we were both hot n got fat together. But ive had a few of my buddies go thru some tough times cus of this crap. Thank you for your concern though. Youre a scholar and a gentleman/ lady
@sikkdog, of course. Glad your alright. Just wanted to check at least. You have yourself a good night.
@Imp stormtrooper, thank you friend. Likewise
@occasionalmutant, youre very right. Maybe hes the one dying his hair. He was going through midlife crisis after all
@quinntastic , she dyed.
@occasionalmutant, however we can’t look at just Violet here to determines Mr and Mrs Incredibles hair gene alleles. Dash has blonde hair like his father. While Jack Jack has more reddish hair like his mother, though it is more reddish blonde.
Blonde hair is a recessive gene. Red hair is pseudo dominant, as it tends to mix more. Mr. Incredible must have blonde genes only. Mrs. Incredible likely has a dark red and blonde allele set. Therefore Violet is either a case of cheating, or she’s dying her hair, by the two ideas here.
@Cloverleaf, but then we can look one step further. Her powers. We know that, with the exception of the suit Edna makes for her, she can’t turn anything she’s wearing invisible with her. So, it’s likely that material that is not a natural part of her would not turn invisible. And hair dye isn’t exactly natural....
Course we’re not considering one other detail. Ostracizing of supers up to that point. Violet could be adopted, because she showed powers and was suddenly unwanted by her birth parents. That’s a third idea not discussed yet.
So in the end, I hold theory that Violet was adopted by them shortly after the ban of Supers, and they show they care for her as their own. Dash and Jack Jack were just happy accidents that came after.
Fan theory I saw says it was with Snugg (the guy she gets the jet from) he seems to have dark hair in the photo and apparently a similar shaped face. Maybe Elstagirl cheated when Mr Incredible was still trying to go out and be a hero on the downlow. The favour she calls in is the fact Snugg got her pregnant
Someone can have red hair even if both of their parents don’t, since red hair can skip generations. It’s possible that both of Ms. Incredibles parents had black hair.
@Candycane Forest, but isnt black hair a dominant trait, while blonde and redhead are recessive? Which means that even if her parents had black hair, she is still homozygous for redhead (no black hair genes at all)
A couple with black and blonde hair can have a kid with red hair. Source, me. :D
OR, and hear me out, they're superheroes and the same genes that give them their superpowers effect their genetics to effect their physical appearance.
Elastigirl cheated with Reed Richards. She didn’t even have to leave the house to do it.
Elastigirl intentionally makes herself so thicc
Elastigirl bending over all kinds of boundaries with that one.
Joffrey wants to know your location!
My parents are a blond and a redhead. They had 5 kids together. 4 are redheads, one is blond. The math checks out.
Oooor since she turns herself invisible, probably by reflecting light she alters the wave lengths bounding off her hair to change it to emo black. Just saying
Doesn't Frozone have black hair?
Ok so like. She could be dying her hair. Or alternatively super genetics. Who the heck know how that sh¡t works. You have a lady that can stretch and super stronk man and yet their kids have super speed and invisibility+force fields. Explain that.
I think she is naturally black haired.
Can someone with a knowledge of hair genetics confirm?
@TriangleTesticles, both red and blonde hair are recessive so they both have rr meaning the only possible hair colors for their children are red and blonde... I think.
@18bluecat, in simplistic terms, yes. As complex as genetics is, it is much more likely for a darker hair color to appear than the lighter one due to their more dominant allele characteristics. Thus their children will tend to have either their hair colors or lighter pending on their full genetic code. In terms of more complex situations, for example, sometimes a combination of recessive alleles can create a phenotype coding for albinism. Even still I have not heard of something like this where the child would have full black hair when her parents are blond and red head. Then again, I'm still just a student... and I don't know the rules of genetic inheritance in superheroes. I mean how do a stechy lady and a strong man create invisible girl, speedy boy, and omnipotent baby?
@18bluecat, red and blonde are not recessive. You are assuming only one gene affects hair color. In fact multiple genes are involved. While it is less likely that a blonde and redhead will have a dark haired child, it is entirely possible. https://genetics.thetech.org/commonly-asked-questions
@occasionalmutant, I'm just going off what I was taught in 9th grade biology my dude. I was told blonde and red hair are recessive. I had no reason to doubt or fact check my teachers.
