@Sivart1, yeah the whole process depending on the protein’s final destination could be a few milliseconds, astoundingly fast.
@BurningWaffle, when my computational biology students run sims of reactions their computers can usually only handle running their models for a few femtoseconds (insanely small) a d the high tech clusters can only run nanoseconds. We need tim on the university supercomputer to get to milliseconds which is insane when you think about the scale at which these things happen in the body.
