This is an axolotl. Unlike other animals, axolotls are able to regrow almost any part of their body, that means not only limbs but much more complex organs like eyes, heart or even its brain. The more you know
@Pred, they also were taken as pets in japan as "fish" but being amphibians they walked out of ponds... After eating every other living thing in the pond then moved onto other ones... Almost eliminated entire populations of aquatic animals in japan... Invasive species 101 the more you know lol
@Pred, however, they are extremely endangered and have a waste gland next to their neck that squirts poison. They pee poison and can regrow limbs. How the fvck are they endangered?!
@Pred, well, if they can do that, should they not be being studied or something? If they can regrow limbs, shouldn't something in their DNA be able to help cure diseases or something? Or am I just being an idiot?
@I am a horse, I would too concidering it's a living mass of stem cells who can detach their limbs to give their arm to their mate if they ever lose one. Adorable, yet horrifying.
I may have owned a few hundred of these things. Axolotls are neat. They can regrow body parts and they live a decent amount of time. As babies it is survival of the fittest. They eat eachother. They like in make in Mexico and that's it
@VegansArePeopleToo, if you're blind, then how the hell can you read the texts on a picture? Those text reader machines don't work for pictures. Know what I think? I think your pant is burning right now cuz you're a liar 👖🔥
