I feel this is going to offend females
@Smash Like Gaston, it will
@Smash Like Gaston, definitely sexist should have shown both signs
@Smash Like Gaston, no, I'm a woman. Those other two gender identities look a lot more epic than female.
@OriginalName022, ahh yes, male and gender neutral are much more epic than female
@Smash Like Gaston, when does it not
@Ripblade01, there is quite literally no statement or situation that doesn't offend somebody
@Smash Like Gaston, This sign offends me. I do not see a clear outline of an Apache Attack Hellicopter
Does anyone remember when people used to not be giant pussies? Nowadays you can barely even tell a joke without some PC retard overracting
@skillingspree, hush, cracker, you're being annoying.
@KeKesUHaulFacility , idk if that's bait but it's not going to work negro
@skillingspree, It's just a joke, don't be such a pussy
@KeKesUHaulFacility , oh I know. it's just fun annoying beta PC pussies
@skillingspree, oh my God 😂😂😂 you actually say beta, how fvcking embarrassing
@KeKesUHaulFacility , what are you going to do write about it on your tumblr blog?
@skillingspree, Correction. Nowadays you can't even tell a joke without a hundred people whining about how pc people aren't gonna like it. There isn't a single comment on here yet that's offended by this picture but there are a ton whining about people being offended by it.
For reals, it's so annoying. I would much rather someone tell me they were offended than someone tell me to watch out for tumblr people because that might be something i haven't heard ten thousand times a day :p
@Hoopscallion, touché but I'd still rather read comments about how people will be offended than people actually being offended
@skillingspree, nope, people always used to get offended when someone pointed out the holes in their religion.
@The Megaton Bomb, good point. It's a shame people can't realise that words mean nothing
@skillingspree, If everyone thought that words meant nothing then how the hell would we communicate? Go back to 4chan, it's obvious that you're out of your element.
@CriTiKa1, you know what I meant don't be so pedantic
@Hoopscallion, ... Give me a minute to rethink some things
@skillingspree, "words mean nothing." You mean like in these comments?
@skillingspree, Now say it again without using the word "PC."
@The Megaton Bomb, or the holes in atheism
@skillingspree, without googling it, what does pedantic mean? Quickly now.
@Jdrawer, I more meant that you choose how much words mean. I'm kind of tubby I guess but if someone called me a fat cvnt I wouldn't care. People need to get over themselves and realise that words can't hurt you
@Pubmarine Shamwich, what holes are there in atheism 😂 in this case pedantic is him taking my comment way too literally
@skillingspree, Except they can? It has been proven that social exclusion or signs of it (such as me saying that you're a fat cvnt) produce equal amounts of damage as physical pain. Not to mention the fact that language affects attitudes. If enough people went around spouting anti-Black rhetoric and saying to "kill the ******s," then that'd create a societal standard to "kill the ******s."
@skillingspree, pedantic means to take something too literally? and the holes include a complete ignorance of the inherent order in our universe, which to believe that all organic and inorganic matter came from nothing takes more faith than the chance there is a higher power out there that we can't understand.
@Jdrawer, I disagree tbh. In today's society we know that "killing ******s" as per your example is wrong. It doesn't matter how many people say it it won't change that fact that we know it's wrong. If you can link me to a study that proves what you say about emotional pain then I will accept it
@Jdrawer, how is that proven exactly? A hundred people mark 8 of 10 on the butt hurt scale and now it's science?
@Pubmarine Shamwich, -_-
@Pubmarine Shamwich, no it's to be overscrupulous but since he read into my comment way too much I believe it was a fair usage
@skillingspree, I can try to find one, but on your other point, just look at Trump. He's getting people who last year were sensible to now want to ban Muslims and Mexicans.
@Pubmarine Shamwich, well considering science can prove the Big Bang while the only evidence of god is a book I think I know which one I'll go for. All one needs do is look up the influence Christianity has taken from other religions to see why it is bullsh**
@Jdrawer, please do. I would disagree with your trump point tho. I imagine anyone who's feeling resentment for Mexicans and Muslims now had the same prejudices back then, but now that a presidential candidate is saying it they feel as though they don't have to hide their hatred anymore. If there is anyone who has been converted into hating Muslims and Mexicans by trump then they're just plain retarded
@skillingspree, You forget that such persuadable people exist.
@Jdrawer, I didn't because I literally just said they're retarded
@Jdrawer, also that study seems like it focuses solely on children. Anyone could tell you that verbal abuse on a developing mind could cause trouble later in life. However, adults, being fully mature, should be able to absorb words and realise that they do as much damage as you allow them to
@skillingspree @Jdrawer @Pubmarine Shamwich, You somehow managed to mix in religion, some amount of politics, comments that make you all sound like seven year olds, and just back and forth insults. I am amazed. You all sounded rather idiotic none the less, but I am amazed.
@skillingspree, and @Pubmarine Shamwich, you need to read Duhem & Quine's underdetermination thesis regarding your argument over theology.
@DameonKingDemon, thanks man it's always nice to meet a fan
@skillingspree, No problem at all mate :)
@DameonKingDemon, this entire escalated rather quickly
@Smash Like Gaston, Yeah, it was impressive. Then it stopped all of the sudden. Then I brought it back!
@DameonKingDemon, good job buddy! Can't have an internet debate finish without a conclusion!
@Smash Like Gaston, Aha! Tis true, Gaston. Would you like to end the conversation off the conclusion with a conclusion?
@DameonKingDemon, ummm conclusions were always the weakest part of my essays.... Here it goes..
In conclusion, we determined that nothing can be solved through internet violence, and that religion, politics, and hypocrisy don't have a place in the comments section. However, if they do find their way into they comments section, one should not take anything personally, for they are just opinions. Thus concludes our observations. The end. Conclusion.
@Smash Like Gaston, *Claptor*
@Pubmarine Shamwich, depends on which method of practicing atheism you're referring to: on one extreme, we have those who fully believe in some creationist idea but choose not worship because "I don't want to put up with that crap..." and they have all the holes of their belief plus that hypocrisy of ideals, on the other extreme we have people who refuse to operate on assumption and see "truths" without evidence to be misinformation. If your point wants to have a target pick one because you are attacking a lack of idea as if it is an idea.
@Pubmarine Shamwich, There is no higher power. All life came from chemicals in the earth and organic compounds emitted by stars (proven fact). All of that matter formed from the energy released when our universe was created by a 4-dimensional black hole.
@Jdrawer, not ban. Perform background checks. And not Mexicans. Illegal immigrants.
@skillingspree, everyone agrees the Big Bang happened. The argument is over what caused it. Atheists believe literally nothing caused it. That takes way more faith than the idea of a higher power.
@DameonKingDemon, it's like the debates but on funny pics! Zing!
@Trump Repellant, dude literally none of that is proven, only theory as to how matter came from nothing. Please.
@The Megaton Bomb, I'm saying the belief that all creation magically zapped into existence from nowhere takes more faith than the idea that a higher power exists that created it all.
@Pubmarine Shamwich, you never have heard of the multiverse then. Let me crash course you real quick:
In the basic (not really) math that makes up physics equations, like Einstein's relativity, there was always an anomaly that we couldn't account for except by throwing in a variable to basically factor the anomaly out. In the search what said anomaly in the math is, a Russian graduate student tried running the math with "extra dimensions" above our three dimensions we know as human beings. In his math, he predicted an ever growing metaverse of energy that continues to expand outward and as it expands outward little "holes" in the energy form as the metaverse becomes too thin in certain areas; these holes are different universes all with different, randomly determined dark matter strengths (explained next paragraph). The math also gets clearer the more levels of metaverse we add into the mix. This is what caused the Big Bang.
@The Megaton Bomb, these different strengths of dark matter determine how basic particles (atoms, the electrons protons and neutrons that make up atoms, quarks antiquarks and neutrinos etc.) interact with each other and determine the properties of the specific universe. Our universe's constant is .0000000000027, which means we are on a collision course for the Big Crunch some trillion years from now; in a universe with a constant much nearer too 0, everything is a ball that hardly expands, if it's very large, everything acts as a plasma and in either case life is not likely because particles cannot interact with each other consistently. As you will recall, right before the Big Bang happens, all matter is in the space of less than an atom. The bang is not really an explosion but the explosive pattern of particles moving away from that start point at violent speeds because they are much too close for any non-0 dark matter constant.
@The Megaton Bomb, we get the idea of a universe with every combination of possible outcomes of our lives from the fact that the multiverse theory doesn't predict a limit for the number of universes created. If there is truly an infinite number if universe that will come into existence, then the infinite possibilities of every universe will eventually be covered.
This is very glazed over and if you want the math, feel free to take several courses on the matter for the hell of it (I did). This is also where the relevant parts that we can solidly prove end. We know of some meta force that acts like describes in the multiverse theory, but not it's exact nature nor can we directly prove it, because to prove that there is a metaverse, our universe would have to collide with another universe in the metaverse, and you can guess how that would go over.
@The Megaton Bomb, The issue with religions is that they are not only inconsistent to how the physical world works but they also fill in the blank of the above without anything but their own speculation and then parade it around as a truth to the point of justifying discrimination with it. Not only is religion useless because morals aren't dependent on a religion's message to exist but it is also misinformation because it is speculation with out proof. Scientists hold forums all the time to discuss new findings and amend theories but if no scientific consensus of data can be found, then nothing is proven and nothing changes. There is a reason we waited three while months after finding the Higgs-Boson particle to do further testing at the supercollider in Europe till we announced that we discovered/proved the particle existence.
@Hoopscallion, It sucks because I love offensive humor, but everyone gets butt hurt so easily now a days. I always watch what I say normally (I never say the N word cause I'm not black) but with all these people being "Pc" I feel like I have to be extra careful of what I do and say 24/7. I feel like if I cough someone will get offended. It's really annoying. So I usually just be my regular self and ignore the "pc" people.
@CrustyMcballs, do they though? Again quick glance because i'm not taking the time to read the dozens of comments that are now on here but 99.9% of the comments are people complaining about how this picture will be offensive to pc people.
You can't make an offensive joke not because someone pc will be upset but because a million people will whine about sjws and pc people.
@Hoopscallion, I wasn't really talking about this community, I was talking about irl. Not many people tell me that people are going to get offended, it's more people getting offended over nothing that bothers me.
@CrustyMcballs, if you tell jokes often where that your friends call you out on for being offensive then you need new jokes or new friends. You get to choose who those people are
@Hoopscallion, my friends are fine with my jokes. I'm just saying people that are trying to be pc, but don't really know how to do it.
@CrustyMcballs, who are these people? You said it was people irl
@Hoopscallion, yeah. It's just people who end up listening to my conversations. Like those people that no one really likes, and they get in your business for no reason. They go to my school and are around me and my friends for no reason then to just be offended by our jokes/conversations.
@Trump Repellant, The creation of the universe can be hypothesised through string theory as the following:
Basically you have a multiverse, the multi verse consists of "bubbles" which are universes. When theses bubbles collide two universes become one, and when one bubble splits into two two universes are created from one. This is the basic idea behind string theory, and that our universe was created by two of these. In addition, universes expand, so eventually they get so expansive the limited energy is so sparse all life will cease to exist in the universe. This is why we want wormholes, which in theory may be able to transport us through this universe, or into others. There's no reason the whole thing couldn't be intelligent design, you have no proof it isn't, merely proof of things that conflict with the literal interpretation of the bible and other texts. Perhaps a metaphorical view can be taken? Even then, say we have the wrong idea of God and there's something else you can't...
@As a matter of fact, continued. You can't disprove that there's no intelligent design and there's a chance there will be one. That's why so many scientists are agnostics because the actual logical reasoning behind it is to declare yourself agnostic, because we will never know. People call agnostics cowardly atheists but it's the logical reasoning.
Bathrooms seriously don't need to be gendered. Just slap a sign with a picture of a toilet on it and you're done. Seriously, nothing bad is gonna happen if men and women pee in the same place.
@Ruupasya, unisex washrooms require sexual maturity not taught anymore
@Ruupasya, nah man, all the men would try to peep on the women while they're using the toilet because all men have excrement fettiches. Never mind the gays and lesbians who are already capable of doing so
@Ruupasya, well there are only 2 physical genders anyway, so we can keep it how it is.
I identify as s pastafarian and this offends me
@Hammer O jo, so for your gender you identify as a follower of the FSM?
@Vesrox, .... Yes? .... If you couldn't tell i did that to be funny, but i guess those downvoter's didnt think so.
@Hammer O jo, oh I know you weren't being serious. It just made a lot less since than these type of comments usually do
@Vesrox, yea i dont comment enough and decided to... Haha
Ah yes the zw chromosomes.
@BearDaniels, some animals actually have z chromosomes determine their sex
I identify as an attack helicopter and it is not representing me, I feel OPPRESSED! -vomits at own words-
Tubmlr would be affended that there is not all there genders here
@Greathoneybagger88, it seems like people are getting more offended by the threat of somebody being offended than the actual picture
This is a travesty.
Lmao.. I see more people in the comments whining about the people who get "offended easily" than those who are actually offended by this..
Or we could just have single bathrooms that have stalls that touch the ground...
This reminds me of that one SpongeBob episode
