I really don't understand the problem y'all have with furries. Literally every one that I've met in person (and most online) has been absolutely cool and chill in every way. Sure, there's a f*ckton of furry porn and kink art, but so what? R34 is a thing that happens for EVERYTHING. If you don't like the porn, fine, totally up to you, but could someone please explain the hate for furries? I even get the hate for MLP, and I love MLP, but for furries I just don't get it.

@xAegis Heartx, yeah yeah yeah, not all furries are bad, just like any group. However, the path of the furry always leads to degeneracy. They are the worst kind of, well I was gonna say people, but they don't deserve that title. They forfeit their right to personhood when they decided they'd rather be an animal.

@xAegis Heartx, I don't like furries for a lot of reasons. The Peter Pan complex that pervades the community, the sexual deviance that is oh-so-commonplace, the pedophilia that they all try to downplay, the obnoxious "uwu" and *notices bulge* way that they communicate, and so much more. But do you wanna know what I despise them for? I despise them because they're stupid. And not just regular stupid, but advanced stupid. They have this alter-ego that has all of these qualities they wish they had, but instead of adopting those qualities as part of who they are so they can like the person they are, they keep them relegated to this imaginary person they just pretend to be. And that is the best case scenario. Worst case, they do it all so they can make a scene and have some scapegoat, i.e. their "fursona", and avoid taking responsibility for themselves. They are completely capable of being a "normal" person (using that term loosely, basically anything but a furry), but instead of focusing..

@xAegis Heartx, on fixing themselves (by that I mean making themselves into someone they are happy with) they abandon whoever they were or could be and dump all of their efforts into some imaginary identity. They are stupid, not because they're intellectually faulty but because they are intellectually wasteful, and that is what I hate most about them. Because after squandering what they had and what they could have been, they then turn around and expect me to feel bad for them because people are mean to them when they are the ones that dug themselves into that hole in the first place.

@Doctor Yak, Really? So the famous people who admit to being furries are squandering something somehow? And the college professors? And the talented artists? And the politicians? And the company executives? Also, your argument still stands as "I don't like furries because they don't want people to not like them" which is even worse than the previous "furries are bad because bad" stance you presented before.

@Doctor Yak, Also addressing the pedophilia argument, I have yet to meet a furry who is a pedophile, and the community at large despises pedophilia to the point that when and if one is discovered, in the community or out, the hatred is entirely universal and instant. Unlike with, say, a politician. As for the argument of creating an alternate persona, sure, they do that, but almost every conceivable non-physical quality of their fursona's are usually part of the persons actual personality as well, and fursona's are ridiculously unique to each person, so your attempt to say they pass blame onto this personality is not only untrue, but it could not be true because it would not work.
You misspelled cancer.
