That is because you're a moron and don't know how to use the program.
@capu57, I am a moron but it has nothing to do with using the program
@capu57, dude, I'm certified in Microsoft Word 2014 and earlier, and even I fuçk up the picture formatting half the time, it's surprisingly unintuitive
@Oreobunbun, please, tell me how one becomes certified in the use of a Microsoft Office program
@Psykotik, either take a high school course offering it, or spend like 200 bucks for a course that ends with a title that businesses like and 6 free copies of Microsoft whatever
@Psykotik, i got certified through class at my community college. You can also take them for any other office program
@Oreobunbun, ya just gotta left click and select "overlap text" and then move the text manually
@dabbage cabbage, i see that you are using this secret trick too
@capu57, I peer tutor the advanced computers in business class at IU, and have worked in word every single day to make executive summaries for an investment firm. I still have to drag pictures inch by inch to get them to not flip and reverse. It is a poorly designed system.
There is an option to not bound to the text. The picture free floats and you can move the text to fit around it.
I just set the image as background then edit the text once I'm done
That's why i prefer LaTeX
Text wrapping: tight.
That's why you right click and hit "wrap text"
I would do this to make my papers that didn't need a word count but a certain # of pages longer in college. It would legit add 2-3 pages
This program has always been a mess
