i always knew it
I mean, the second part is true.. but ice is cold.
@SmartFeller, indeed, which is why the heat leaves your hand haha. People be trippin
@SmartFeller, Cold doesn't exist.
@Jdrawer, I like you, you're probably chaotic neutral, aren't you?
Hmmmm, with further reflection, you're probably lawful neutral.
@Jdrawer, only the absence of heat
@Hot Coffee, I've been described as LG with Chaotic tendencies IRL, but I take a more Neutral approach on the Internet or in philosophy or science.
@YourMummy, Heat is never absent.
@Jdrawer, I'm inclined to think that once you reach absolute zero, heat is absent. I guess you're not technically wrong though, since we can't actually reach absolute zero as of now
@BIessthefaII, I don't think it'll ever be possible, seeing as systems tend to disorder.
@Jdrawer, cold exists as a sensation, cold is a term for something having lease heat energy than another. So technically it exists in a way.
@Optical Nudist, But does that mean it exists, or does that mean it's describable?
@SmartFeller, well cold is actually just the absence of heat
@Jdrawer, *nods* well yes, but something something semantics.
Look who found a basic physics book and missinterperted what it said.
Imagine that this man was on Twitter and saw this post but at that exact moment a person he called the illuminati text him that
@muckian21, Yeah - clearly fake. He hasn’t even got our number right in that entry in his contacts!
Stupid.... why would the heat move into the ice if it wasn’t cold?
Cold is just the name we give the process is in which our will to live slowly deteriorates...
This is like fifth grade science
The human body can only detect temperature differences, that's why ice feels cold. This is also why if you were to jump out of a normal sized pool, jump into a hot tub, then jump back into the normal size pool, the normal size pool would feel much colder than it did originally.
That's how us Canadians survive, we don't let the heat escape our bodies
Okay I get that cold means “the absence of heat”, but we need a word for that. Can we just call it “cold”??
That's weird...ice always feels warm in my hands. My blood is liquid nitrogen.
That's kinda how ice works
Trying not to go in a rant about society..!!!mmmrrrgghhhppph
Cold is just the absence of heat so ice IS cold
@Kraft Punk, The heat isn't absent.
