Little known fact about pancakes, they started in Denmark but was made with acorn powder! (They are hard pancakes but get soft with syrup) they used large Steele dishes to cook them in blast furnaces. (Pan-cake, they were very large). Belgium, however, had a problem since they had their version of the pancake, the FurJoren, or as translated, Blue Waffle. It was blue because they used Malachite as the metal tools and it reacted chemically to the yeast. They had a three year long war over it until Australia stepped in, and concluded that Vegemite was completely superior to both. And that is how we won WWIIII. the more you know!
@Fun Facts 101, I suggest that everyone search "Blue Waffle" images to raise awareness for pancake history!
@Fun Facts 101, This was funny and all (honestly, it really was), but I just have a serious question...When will you do actual "facts" again? Like I said before, I'm not hating on you or anything, but yeah...
@CreamyPie, I have never done actual facts. That's the joke :D
@Fun Facts 101, I love reading these, because there is so much thought in them, like using malachite instead of azurite etc. Keep it up :)
@HughJanus52, I would also suggest that everyone search "Red pancake"
