This comment section isnt gonna be worth the effort.
@ThePandaPool , I was gonna start a discussion then I realized it was a waste of time and people tend to have already made up their mind when this topic is on hand
@ThePandaPool , lmao I’m glad that no one has actually been as bad as you prolly expected in the comment section
@Fumble surf, They never are. TPP just has to get that leaderboard.
@OfficialNyarlathotep, no wait! My opinion is different, matters, you will be swayed by my argument!
@Fumble surf, whenever I make this prediction it doesnt happen. It's like people avoid it in spite of me, but I'm ok with that. And dont mind jdrawer. Hes my own personal troll. He comes on this app just to downvote/criticize me. Makes me feel special.
@Canis Arktos, well, you convinced me
@ThePandaPool , I blocked him just to try to get him to stop downvote trolling me, and it didn’t seem to work. I still get downvoted from people I’ve blocked, but I can’t downvote those who have blocked me. Does that seem right to you?
@I Are Lebo, yea. Blocking is kinda broken on this app. Doesnt seem to do much. What's the point if people can still comment to you directly?
@ThePandaPool , exactly
I did the things
@Fluffy Cat, good
Cats like us should be evil.
@Fluffy Cat, Guys...
Anything to add good guy satan, bad boy jesus and dr. Sin?
@The Flame War, sin is stored in the thing
@The Flame War, I just want to say that Good Guy Satan had nothing to do with any of that other than Eve. People just suck
@The Flame War, way to much to read I’m lazy and going to bed
Where’s the part where God murders a bunch of dudes? That’s all over the Bible.
@I Are Lebo, *Pulls out ol’ reliable*
Is it really murder if you made it?
It’s illegal to kill your own kids for a good damn reason.
@I Are Lebo, calm your tits, I don’t have kids.
@I Are Lebo, you didn't make your kids. You just fvcked and they grew.
@devalation, fücking is how you make children. That’s a semantics argument. If you built a true AI capable of reasoning, independent thought, complex emotions, that possessed its own agency, you’d be an evil monster if you were to then destroy it.
It doesn’t cease to be murder because you created the individual you’re murdering.
@I Are Lebo, no that's true. Killing anything which is capable of sentience should be considered murder. However the Law does make a distinction between murder and homicide based purely on circumstance. If the law is willing to take such a subjective approach to this topic, then a literary analysis cannot be derived to such a rote interpretation as all killing is murder.
@devalation, I agree in that circumstances matter, I was more arguing that the origins of the victim have no bearing on the nature of the crime. I wasn’t differentiating between homicide and manslaughter, I was simply pointing out that being the genesis of the victim isn’t a justification or excuse for killing them.
@I Are Lebo, (thanks, I meant murder and manslaughter). And today, no. However, in Genesis 6 (the story of Noah) the whole of humanity is shown to be wicked, possibility literally evil. If one is born evil, then maybe their circumstance would never be considered murder.
@devalation, so all the children were evil, too? Every man, woman, and child were evil? They were made by God in His own image, and he allowed them to be born evil just so he could be justified in slaughtering them? That’s pretty damn evil of Him.
Also? The guy did this multiple times throughout the bible, and it NEVER worked. Not with the Samsonites, not with the Israelites, not with Sodom and Gomorrah, not with the flood. None of God’s plans in the bible work out. Even Pharoah, who God hardened his heart because he wasn’t done showing off and so all of the innocent first borns had to die, for no apparent reason other than because Jehovah is a bloodthirsty monster.
@I Are Lebo, we are lead to believe they are filled with evil thoughts from birth due to some corruption of humanity (unexplained). God acting in Egypt was the first time he "showed off" his power to groups of people (before it had only been to individuals like Abraham). Since then he trimmed evil like weeds and never let it grow to consume the world again (such as Sodom and Gomorrah). We see an example of this strategy working in Jonah where the people of Nineveh repent and change their ways. Finally, God appears blood thirsty, but I think there is some greater element that we do not understand but that is demonstrated by Jesus. His son was given as a blood sacrifice to redeem humanity as a whole, a direct response to Adam condemning humanity as a whole. Blood was also used to save the Hebrews in Egypt from the Angel of Death. Something about innocent bloodshed holds power which I think explains why so many cultures throughout history have relied on blood sacrifice or blood "magic"...
@devalation, to worship. However God has proclaimed that no sacrifice can be greater than Jesus's so we no longer observe the tradition and instead celebrate his sacrifice annually. There is also power in faith. Jesus says that all his miracles are from God, and a woman is healed by faithfully touching Jesus's robe. God also sent the Holy Spirit which fundamentally changed our relationship with Him to be more intimate. Yes, he kills people, his own children. But as a being beyond space and time with power over life and death, death is not as significant to Him as it is to us. It is certainly not as final. It is morally wrong for us to kill, but it may not be morally wrong for God to kill if His will can restore or redeem killed bodies. That is why it is a religion of faith. We have faith that his judgement for our souls is best, regardless of our earthly bodies. And that faith has as much power as blood.
@devalation, and what reason do you have to believe that any of that is true?
Adam: hello, it's nice to me you.
Lillith: back off, creep. Drop the nice guy crap, you pig, I'm a strong Independant woman that needs no man so you can stay on your side of paradise and I'll stay on mine.
Adam: B-but it's for both of us? God said.
Lillith: Don't Need God either.
God: Okay, listen here you little shjt...
*Disclaimer, I don't know much about Lillith, those just for fun, and not necessarily an accurate parody.
@Sambob, She wouldn't let Adam be on top when they were having sex, or so I heard.
It seems to have some plot holes.
@CynicalSirr, just like the actual bible
Too long didn’t read
@I Are Lebo, the only reason anyone would believe it: personal experience. I was raised as a Christian but I never felt anything until one day when I was 15. I was bored to death from a summer school reading assignment and I had been thinking about God a lot then. I closed my book, bowed my head, and sincerely prayed for God to reveal himself to me. I finished my prayer and opened up my book again and out fell a little slip of paper with the verse Joshua 1:9, "Be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed, for the Lord they God is with thee withersoever thou goest." I've felt His presence 4 times in my life including that one. I don't know how much of the old testament is true, but I know that Jesus is.
@password123, you're right, needs more baby killing
