You are kidding yourself if you thought the turtles from the old live action movies looked good
@Hoopscallion, they don't but these look worse
@Hoopscallion, The first movie had pretty good costumes, but they got progressively worse over the course of the next 2 films.
@Donald Drumpf, the Turtles in Time movie's costumes were made out of nightmare fuel.
@Hoopscallion, they actually look like turtles and not cgi aids turtles
@Hoopscallion, nostalgia is a hell of a drug
@Hoopscallion, they are good if one accepts they are a guy in a suit from 1990 as opposed to a digitally created entity which can look exactly the way you want it to look.
@Hoopscallion, dosnt mean the new ones are better.
@Hoopscallion, they didn't look good, but they looked more like the cartoon version, which the entire movie did a great job recreating. Seeing Shredder as a real person gave my little 90's kid heart a fright.
I think the Galaxy-looking suits are pretty dope. Could be just me though
How does any of these look worse?
@SmacktalkerSkywalker, maybe the kettle, but the rest you're right
@Welcommatt, the power rangers head looks like a fat lady sat on a watermelon.
@SmacktalkerSkywalker, the power ranger looks like a discount robocop.
@SmacktalkerSkywalker, that tea kettle is terrifying
@Welcommatt, it's kinda creepy but at the same time it's a pretty accurate adaptation to what it would look like in real life based on the original.
@The Puppet Man, lmfao
The original turtle suits are awesome
Tell that to Teen Titans Go
The old turtle one was definitely better, looked closest to the source material. Original power Ranger suits looked more appealing, but the new ones are more logical for function (actual armor rather than spandex). Live action Disney movies just look weird
@Kangaroo Jacked, yeah, but the suits were also given to them by a magical giant space face who also gives them to power to summon giant robots. Who says he doesn't have a material that looks just like human spandex and gives the same range of motion but with all the protective abilities of the space armor? It's the same complaint I have about every live action superhero nowadays having all their costumes replaced by color coordinated body armor.
I think Mrs. Pots looks cute.. I read an article that said they really wanted to keep the spout nose, but it just made her look like a pig.
@Purple Bronco , I also never expected the movie to make the furniture characters exactly the same considering it is live action vs cartoon
@Purple Bronco , they are supposed to be real cutlery and home decor, that's what's accurate. They can't just forced the movie looks.
I think the complaint with the turtles is that they look more humanoid and less turtly , apparently the one who made this pic is a member of the Turtle Club
Lesson I: DON'T UPDATE CHARACTERS UNLESS IT'S A CONTINUATION OF THE PLOT
Oh, and the complaints begin... I have to laugh at anyone complaining about the Power Rangers reboot, because chances are, YOU opened the door to this sh*tstorm!
How dare you say that about Mrs. Potts!
Only bad one is Mrs. Potts. Her spout should be the nose. The new one looks like Lady Casandra
If you like the way the
a moron of the highest caliber. Absolutely terrible looking, crap voices and they dont even act like they should. Do not modernize classics. Transformers is another example.
They all look great
The teapot is scary
The oldies are gems for a reason
