Look, everyone deserves death, at the hands of time not man
@DrSin, is that a quote or did you just come up with that, cause that's deep
@FullMetalAlcoholist, legit, I came up with that, I’m 100% serious
@DrSin, what about child rapists? Cause I think every sane person can agree that they deserve to have their heads split open on a curbside
(I was trying to be funny, your point is solid)
@Toxia, their is always exceptions, scientist finally found a creature that does not need oxygen to live, originally we thought the only way life could flourish was by absorbing oxygen somehow
@DrSin, but what if man is merely the tool that time uses?
Noone deserves death because noone chose life. Life was thrust upon us without our consent, now we run around doing our best to be happy before we inevitably die some sad and terrible death.
@PottedPlant, “Jean-Paul Sartre postulated that every existing thing was born without reason, prolongs itself out of weakness and dies by chance.”
“Totally righteous, bro!”
@DrSin, you're talking about the tiny guys that live in fish muscles? Right?
@DrSin, time is taking to long we got a quota to fill.
TTS reference, I love this
@SeelenVerKaufer , yey
@SeelenVerKaufer , TableTop Simulator?
I mean we still dont make laws based on race like you do. So fvck off racists.
.... yet fvcking leftists.
@CocoasBro, who makes laws based on race?
@bobbylupo, leftists, weren't you listening? Duh...
@Empshok, what about every disenfranchising voting law passed in the south? Actually, pretty sure northern states did it too, but...
<prepares for blowback>
@XeromusPwndCecil, *blows back*
@Empshok, well played, sir. Well played.
@bobbylupo, leftists, the left in general are massively racist and seek to discriminate based on race.
@XeromusPwndCecil, Do any of those laws actrually mention race? Because if not then youre the one being racist.
@CocoasBro, it doesn't have to mention one race to overwhelmingly disparage one group in particular
@CocoasBro, literacy laws (proving you were literate to be allowed to vote) disenfranchised black voters because it was illegal for slaves in the US to be taught to read/write, and as a result they were disproportionately illiterate after emancipation and later when they gained suffrage. Then even after literacy rates improved, these so called “tests” were administered by officials who arbitrarily instituted tests to black voters that were absurd, such as “recite the constitution, but only every other word”, and if they couldn’t do so, they weren’t allowed to vote. And even if they did jump thru the ridiculous hoops, the white election official would simply say “well sorry, you’re wrong”, and they’d still be denied their rights. Race doesn’t have to be explicitly stated in a law to be racist in implementation and intention. But I’m guessing you probably already know this.
@XeromusPwndCecil, well it wouldnt be the law itself that was racist but the officials themselves being racist then wouldnt it.
But let me get this straight your comparing all that to voter id laws. Do you understand how easy it is to get an id? Its like 20 bucks at the dmv to get an id. Its nothing and you need one in order to do just about everything. Thats why the overwhelmingly vast majority of black people have them.
@jouze, so your saying laws against crystal meth and incest are racist against white people because it disproportionately affects us?
@CocoasBro, when did I mention or refer to voter id laws?
@XeromusPwndCecil, well we were talking about unfair and racist voting laws... thats ussually the lefts go to so i took the argument to its natural conclusion. But fair enough well get there eventually. So ill argue your point. What was racist about your examples wasnt the laws themselves but the unfair application of said laws and the intentions of the people behind them. Not the laws themselves.
Or are you also saying that these laws would be racist regardless because they disproportionately affect one race?
If the examples had been applied evenly there would be nothing racist about them.
@CocoasBro, I agree, the unequal application of the literacy laws was the real racist mechanism. In that specific example, it was also designed to disenfranchise a group of people that the lawmakers didn’t want to have the power to vote.
Voter ID laws are a bit trickier than my example because for elections to be legitimate there need to be mechanisms in place to prevent unlawful votes from being cast. Requiring ID is one mechanism. But once you get into what ID is acceptable, there’s clear bias against specific groups. Tennessee, for example, will allow you to use a handgun carry permit as an acceptable form of ID, but not a university student ID to vote.
@CocoasBro, Correct me if I’m wrong here, but with voting laws specifically, it’s about finding the right balance between ensuring every citizens right to vote and keeping unlawful votes from being cast. Go to far to one side in the effort of election security and you end up disenfranchising a disproportionately left leaning voter base. Make voting laws too relaxed and you ensure voters ease of access at the expense of election security and legitimacy.
@XeromusPwndCecil, that is because one is state issued and the other is not. Which is reasonable in my book.
I think your making a pretty big leap in assuming that leftists dont have drivers liscense or cant pick up a id from the dmv. Seeing as how simple it is and how much you need an id to function on a basic level as an adult.
@XeromusPwndCecil, sorry I'm late to the party, but how can you compare a state issued firearm license to a student i.d.? Firearm license requires citizenship and a background check, student I.D.s are handed out to students, some of which are not citizens, and no governed background check.
The problem is, everything the left does, is to gain votes/ power. All the "sympathy" and "causes" are pretend, to get votes. They will never put anything above their own personal gain.
Everyone hates gypsies though
@Elmato, I still think it’s interesting when I hear people use the phrase “I got gypped last week by something something something” not realizing it’s a pejorative slur against gypsies.
The constant warning I got when I visited Paris was watch for pick pocketing Gypsies
@megamanx181x, did you enjoy your trip though?
@wtninja, I did though, and yes it’s true Paris people are very rude
@megamanx181x, my wife hated her trip. Said whole place “smelled like stale urine.”
@wtninja, it’s not as clean as I would liked it in compared to mother European countries. I loved the louve and the buildings but the hostel we stayed at was lousy designed and seriously Merchants are barely nice enough to make a sale with you
@megamanx181x, so a gypsy touched your butt? Tell me about that..
America is probably the least racist place in the world
We wouldn't mind gypsies if they followed the law. Instead they go onto land that they aren't meant to, damage the place and leave litter. They steal from shops in the area and take copper pipes where they can. I didn't want to think of them negatively, then a group of them broke into my works carpark and did this for 2 weeks before moving on.
@Albatraous, gypsy is an ethnic group. Not a race so you cant be racist against them.
@CocoasBro, can still discrimate them
@Albatraous, thats true.
@Albatraous, honestly? Whoever defends sid „ethnic group“ has never lived in a country infes... populated by them. Go and live for a month in a Balkan country for a month and tell me how you feel about them when for instance you get your trash bag ripped out of your hand when you are next to the garbage container, ripped open in front of you and searched for anything useful
Funny how you're complaining about racism while using ethnic slurs.
@Jdrawer, Doesn’t your a$$ ever get sore with that stick up it?
@Block1187, Calling out ethnic slurs means I have a stick up my butt? Okay, bud.
@Jdrawer, bro you go pc on a lot of different posts. At this point it’s what you’re known for. Anybody says anything remotely offensive, intentional or not, and you show up to sanctimoniously preach the gospel of social justice. Hence the stick up your butt, because you do this a lot, not just this pic.
@Block1187, Not my problem.
