The simpsons called it !
So basically we can say "Simpsons did it" to the entire presidential election?
@oakssam, and thanks to Obama we already have the financial mismanagement and crime wave
@HeadlessHampster, There are none so blind as those who will not see ...
@HeadlessHampster, your comment would be much more popular today. Right wingers have taken over this app. As you can see it used to lean left.
They also predicted 9/11. So there ya go.
@SamMan808, Also the movie Inside out
@SamMan808, I don't think I saw that episode...
@SamMan808, maybe bin Laden watched the Simpsons? Did you ever think of that.
@BunnyGruff, don't you mean bush saw watched the Simpsons?
Am i the only one thats not gonna vote because i dnt like any of the candidates?
@Senor Teets, I'd vote if one of them promised to appoint a 'Secretary of Keeping It Real'
@Senor Teets, I'd vote Bernie Sanders. He's honest and every economy he's been in charge of has done great. The people of Vermont absolutely love him.
@Senor Teets, you still get one as president, might as well pick the lesser of the evils.
@Lord Commander Snow, self-proclaimed socialist. This is a democratic society, not a socialist society.
@MrLampoon, I have to respectfully disagree. Sanders has been issuing socialist policies through a democratic medium for years. Socialism is an economic system not a governmental one. You're confusing it with communism. I can understand the confusion and general anxiety about socialism though
@MrLampoon, also I wasn't anxiously awaiting a reply lol I just happened to look at my phone right as you responded
@Lord Commander Snow, fine then. This is a capitalistic society. Not a socialist society.
@Lord Commander Snow, 239 years as the best country on earth is why. If it ain't broke don't fix it. (not that socialism would be a fix to anything)
@Dr Simon Acula, but why? It doesn't have to be. I think everyone other than the filthy rich would be better off for changing. I think we should socialize the basics for survival (housing, food, etc.) and try to get the unemployed public jobs. Maybe to fix our crumbling infrastructure. I think capitalism has failed us but everyone is entitled to their opinion
@Dr Simon Acula, I'd argue that it is very broken
@Lord Commander Snow, #FeelTheBern
I actually think trump might do good things for our economy. He's a businessman, he knows how to deal with money.
@ archiethesailor, He's gone bankrupt four times
@SethEtho, out of thousands of business ventures..... that's a pretty solid record.
@ archiethesailor, also he had zero political sense. he may get the popular vote but he'll never get the electoral. it doesn't matter how good of a business man he is, if he has no political background nothing will get done
@The Big Hodge, thats this country's problem it's always politicians, let some art/history major run the country
@The Big Hodge, Do you even know how the electoral college works? All of them vote based on the popular vote of their state. There have only been a few electors who went against their state's popular vote, but they weren't enough to change the outcome of their election.
@ archiethesailor, in the wise words of Abe Lincoln in Epic Rap Battles of History: "It's a country not a company, you can't play it like monopoly"
@CriTiKa1, I think he meant congressional support. Trump has already managed to alienate the republicans and democrats and no one is taking office for months
@SethEtho, actually, four of his companies went bankrupt. But he brought each of those bankrupt companies back from the ashes each time
@Darth Sion, he only brought them in money by pulling shady business ventures that required no actual business savy, like for example he brought money back in by letting lots of false Chinese companies use the trump name and put it on their buildings and such
@jouze, screw China to get us money? Sounds like a good deal to me.
@Darth Sion, he didn't screw China he gave them power by letting them use the trump name, screwing the people that used their business here and in the process cashing the paycheck for himself, he would have no issue screwing the country to make a buck
@SethEtho, "He" did not go bankrupt but a few companies did and he was the CEO
@SethEtho, understand that in the business world going "bankrupt" is like a get of jail free card. It's a chance to start over fresh. Plus there are many different types of bankruptcy. In fact if we didn't have that option many business would have never took the chance in the first place.
@SethEtho, welcome to owning a company. Go to business school or Intern for a company before you hate on him for going bankrupt....*and getting himself out* (which is the real accomplishment)
@the zuisher, Hahahaha, that's a good one
It's official, Simpsons are the Prophets
@MrWonka, do you think maybe Trump saw that episode and decided to run for president?
Don't you mean he saw trump taking over office with the economy already in the dump.
Okay Simpsons has predicted way too much stuff to be a coincidence at this point.
And "The Simpsons" hasn't really been funny in about 20 years.
This isn't true! The episode shows Lisa as the president, not trump.
If he gets in ,your on your own America...
: The Rest of the World
What if Trump is running because of this episode?
And demolition man predicted that Arnold Shwarzennagor would go into politics.
(I know I misspelled it idgaf)
Well aliens also abducted Clinton and Dole so it must be true.
They Trumped the competition
SIMPSONS DID IT. SIMPSONS DID IT. SIMPSONS DID IT
