Walmart being walmart
Wow these are fancier than that time we went to the Olive Garden.
@Startled Bear, did yall just look inside from the window?
@Startled Bear, Honestly though, Olive Garden is the place to go to make your younger kids think they're eating in a fancy restaurant.
@Gollum Fetish, is...is it not a fancy restaurant?
I mean... Honestly a price or what type of rock should matter for marriage. Save and plan on long term for the marriage.. Not a dumb stone or wedding.
@ComedyPro, my wife and I agree. I got a custom steel set with matching designs, 200 bucks for knowing the jeweler lol.
@ Tobias Widower, good for you guys 👍🏻 no need to spend thousands on a stupid ring.
Sorry, I prefer Ringpops. Cheaper and delicious
It's the thought that counts not how cheap you are.
@Stryker Eureka, at the end of the day a guy shouldn't go in debt or bankrupt just so his wife can have a giant stone. That being said if I ever get married my bank account will be in pain
@The forest, doesn't have to be--- we found a 1 cttw three stone engagement ring with a gold band, certified diamonds ring from KMart of all places. Huge mark down to $400 because of recession + diamonds are grossly overpriced. It had high clarity and all the good stuff. Appraised at $3,000. Don't go into debt for anyone- it's not worth it unless it's your own kid.
@SchroedingerPussPuss, also diamonds are not actually rare, it's just that major corporations own all of them and state that they are rare, but in fact they have them in their own warehouses
@The forest, diamonds have always been rare, this is why throughout history they have been used as a seco dary form of currency and have held top bolling in transactions requiring bardering.
@The Lost Reference, I think you're thinking of gold
@Darunia18, yes gold too has been used as a hard currency to support paper money debt, but diamonds have also been used as a standardized measurement in areas where it is uncovered/mined, such as Sierra Leon.
@The Lost Reference, you can even google if diamonds are rare and the first thing Google suggest states how it is a market invention an ideology about there being a demand.
I know when that cheap ring blings...it can only mean one thing...
I proposed to my ex with a $30 engagement ring. I'm so glad that marriage never happened.
@I Are Lebo, and she refused to give it back so you got the last laugh
@HeadlessHampster, actually, I'm not sure what happened to it.
That girl had hella issues, though.
I gave my girlfriend some cool earrings that i found at target. Just the type of thing she was looking for i week ago. they weren't real diamond or anything, but i thought they looked good, and i told her they were fake. Now she wears them everytime we go out with family or friend.
Yes. I save tons of money.
Because she's worth more than a taco bell breakfast, but not worth as much as Denny's
I don't want or expect anything huge or expensive just thoughtful and something real that won't turn my finger green-real ring that last with the marriage
Can't spoil her too much. Better get the step below 10.88
But all I got is tree fiddy
Holy sh!t only 10.88??? I gotta get to walmart!
I don't know, I might need a small loan of a million dollars
@TheMexicutioner, ask your dad
Her: dis you get this at Zales?
Him: yep! Sure did!
Her: I cant believe you drove so far!!! 😍
Him: Huh? Wha... OH!! No... I thought you said "SALE" oh, no I went to Walmart.
Fun prank idea: If you know someone who will propose soon, replace the ring with a ring pop and do not tell them. Record the proposal.
"The LOOK of diamond"...
"Every kiss begins with- ... Walmart"
I don't understand the point of fake jewelry. The real stuff is so much more useful. To me the fake stuff is just a waste of money.
I think I overpaid for my wife's wedding set... :-\
What a repugnant stare
