Throw it in the harbor!
@Doctor Yak, this man knows what’s up.
So what's the difference between Diet Coke and Coke Zero?
@MrWonka, Diet Coke has no sugar. Coke Zero has no cocaine.
@MrWonka, Coke Zero is part of the zero branding Coke is doing for any product they make that is supposed to be the best of both worlds, ie diet soda calories and sugar amounts, regular soda taste. They’ve probably only kept Diet Coke around cause so many like that taste more than regular coke. There’s Sprite Zero, mellow yellow zero..... though truth be told like usual the one that tastes like regular even if it’s diet is the lemon lime clear soda.
@MrWonka, There is a difference in ingredients used. And personally I much prefer Coke Zero flavor to diet. But it makes me burp like crazy and it became an expensive habit.
@TheColossalTitan, cocaiZero is a hell of a drug
@TheColossalTitan, don't they have exactly the same ingredients in the same order?
@MrWonka, Zero has Sodium Citrate and Diet has citric acid, and they have a slightly different flavor profile but that’s about it
@TheColossalTitan, I thought that part of the difference was marketing between men and women, zero was branded for men as it was zero calories but it didn’t have the word diet it as diets were more associated with women. Could definitely be wrong though
@Mathies, You’re probably right. They do have slightly different flavors though, according to Coke. They tried to make Zero taste as close to original as possible while Diet has it’s own more distinct (bad in my opinion) flavor.
An interesting study was released recently regarding sugary drinks. Chile implemented an additional tax increase on sugary drinks from 13% to 18%. The study showed that a year before and after the increase, sales were pretty much the same.. i.e. the sugar tax had little to no effect on sales
Actually one of the best way to get something with sugar pass the tax is by saying it has no suger
@muckian21, In the USA there are suppose to be laws against false claims like that.
