I used to spend hours in B & N drinking Starbucks and thumbing through magazines... Any other old people remember magazines????
@Ducbil, only MAD magazine and the supermarket newssheets my mom left in the bathroom back in the pre WiFi era
So they bought one college textbook?
College tuitions got students out here stealing textbooks. Jeez that sounds a lot more depressing when you say it out loud.
@El Batman, I could spend $600 on non college related books easily
@El Batman, b-ok.cc has most textbooks. Don't know why anyone would steal a physical book or money to buy one.
Bought a bunch of dvd collections to resell?
@megamanx181x, Vinyls are where the money is at brotha
@Doctor Bees, good to know!
@megamanx181x, If the thief was smart, they'd have bought something from B & N that they can resell easily. That way the dirty money that they stole could be turned into clean money by reselling whatever they bought from B & N.
@PsychedelicCow, you uhh sound really knowledgable about this…
@megamanx181x, lol, I had literally just watched UpperEchelonGamers video about Steam laundering money, so I just applied that knowledge to this. Go watch it if you haven't, it's a good video.
edit: people are using Steam to launder money, not Valve themselves, to my knowledge.
@PsychedelicCow, ahh well that makes it a whole lot better
Sounds like he bought the whole DnD 5e book collection.
@Mag3rPayne, which in that case good for them, I wouldn't even be mad in that case
Those are rookie numbers for college text book prices
