Treasure Planet was the absolute best, I still have a happy meal toy for it from when I was like four.
@Praetor, Treasure Island is my favorite classic novel of all time.
@Praetor, oh ya, well I collected all the inspector gadget happy meal toys and put them all together.
@Praetor, Seriously how it didn't end up a mass success is beyond me
@Joe Dirte, I honestly can not compete with that.
@Praetor, I recently rewatched it on Netflix, and it was amazing as ever.
@Praetor, that is the only movie here besides bolt i have not seen...man i watch a lot of anime
@Praetor, such a good underated movie
@Praetor, I still have the sphere. It's all of them combined minus the stamp
@Praetor, nah LION KING ALL THE WAY!!!!
@Not Actually a Corgi, oh man I love that film
@Praetor, it's definitely underrated. I would be sonhappy if they remastered it or made a sequel, however unlikely that may be.
@Praetor, it still is fun to watch it and I still cry when he has the flashback of his dad
@Praetor, whats the movie that says dark ages? I dont remember that one
Man I had no idea they made movies back in the BC era
@Caramelapples, Cant wait until Treasure Planet comes out!
@Caramelapples, i was just about to make this coment but you were faster
There are 2 Atlantis moments though
@Potter314 , the first Atlantis is them closing it off to the world, the second is it being discovere
@The Big Hodge, I was confused about that for a bit. I thought that the 7000bc one was Atlantis but wasn't sure since the other was more clear
@Potter314 , There's also two moments from that movie about the time traveling kid.
@Jdrawer, I believe it was
"Meet the Robinsons".
Brother Bear wasn't in 10,000 BC... Pretty sure Big Hero 6 wasn't in 2014 too.
@Parvenu Walrus, brother bear had wooly mammoths. Had to be at least 10,000 bc
@Parvenu Walrus, also Rapunzel's wedding was 3 years before Elsa's coronation. And Tarzan mentions Darwin and a queen (whose name i forget) which weren't overlapping periods so it can't be rightly placed in a year
@Parvenu Walrus, and King arthur was probably later than the 400's stone castles and jousting wasn't till like 1200
this is impossible, movies didn't even exist before the late 1800's
@Captain Penis, ah shoot you beat me to the joke you sly dog you
I thought Aladdin was set in the future
How would they know what time period the lion king was set in?
I was going to say that Big Hero 6 was definitely in the future, then I realized, it was a alternate universe where everything was taken over by the japanese.... Man, if only that was real. We'd have cool tech, and be living in a anime
@4Chan Ambassador , most tech "created" by Japan is computer based and computers were developed in America, but sushi is delicious and I love dragon ball lol
I'm pretty sure Aladin is in the future though..
@The Big Hodge, my brother had a link to a movie theory site on this.
Starting the theory was when Genie returns from traveling wearing clothing from our time, this only matters since I believe he said he traveled back in time(or this was the theory on the site) to see what he has missed while being stuck in the lamp
@D4rthbob, no the theory is that the genie says he's been in the lamp for 3000 years however he references events from the 80s so the year of the movie must be at least 4990 or so
@The Big Hodge, thanks for the numbers, I honestly didn't remeber what was said. And yea, that's the theory in a nutshell.
Next fav disney theory is that all the movies are connected.
@The Big Hodge, precisely and the directors said that's the theory they support
@The Big Hodge, there's also the possibility this dude is just trying to sell you a piece of crap by making up a cool back story
Wait I don't think brother bear is in the 10,000 be area
@Captain Nibbler , lion king could be anywhere
@Captain Nibbler , wooly mammoths in the movie
What is the 2037 movie?
@Malorn13, Meet the Robinsons
False. Aladdin takes place in post apocalyptic waste land at least 10000 years in the future
I bet they're not dates of the year but he many times used to fap
Atlantis was on there twice, therefore the best.
So you're telling me that the animals took over specifically in 1194?
Forgot about Wall•E
@SqurtieMan, this is Disney, not Pixar
Actually alladin is thousands of years in the future, this is hypothesized by the fact make references to current pop culture and calls it old
So now... Name all the movies
Maid Marian is my favorite Disney Princess :)
101 Dalmatians was made in 1961, but the setting is roughly in the late 30's.
Y u no include Balto?? 1925
When was Star Wars?
@Stealthreaver, a long long time ago
Atlantis is on this twice...?
As someone who is halfway through his first college history class I can confirm that while most of these are accurate some are way off. Thank you
What is the 400s film?
@Alex Turner, I believe it's the Sword in the Stone
I loved Treasure Planet. I need to rewatch it but think it might not be the same as when I was little. It might ruin it!
Big Hero 6 isn't 2014.
Fairly sure the fox and the hound wasn't in the 80's
