Step 1: Shut the fück up
Step 2: While listening to someone speak, instead of just waiting for your turn to talk, shut the fück up and actually listen to what the other person has to say
Step 3: Go outside in nature, and shut the fück up so you can actually appreciate it
Step 4: Shut the fück up, and take some time to think about stuff
Step 5: Shut the fück up
Thank you for coming to my TED talk. Shut the fück up.
@I Are Lebo, "TED shut the fvck up"
@lilwhiteboyz, Hi, have you met Ted?
Introversion ≠ social anxiety
Extroversion ≠ obnoxious
@Cave Dweller, tired of this false stereotype. I'm introverted but very social. Just need alone time to recharge. Introverted don't mean shy. How did it get to where shy people = introverted?
@that crazy Marine, Some, otherwise very warm and good people, find the tedium of social interaction exhausting, others simply have less of a need for social contact. They are, however, neither broken nor pathologically timid— and are, in fact, often more pleasant to be around.
@Cave Dweller, yeah that bugs me too, especially since I’m an obnoxious introvert
@I Are Lebo, there’s a bit of redemption in your honesty. Careful now. We might get along.
@Cave Dweller, THANK YOU
But I’m introverted and I’m the one that needs to be quiet and reflective. I’ve learned to communicate with others well, in small groups only.
Introvert/extrovert has nothing to do with this.
