@InsaneAnimeCleavage, I mean to be fair not us, our forefathers put them in charge and we were born into a society that was too far along for any one individual to change it easily and certainly not quick enough to enjoy the changes that they made. I agree with what you’re sayin lol but to be fair it wouldn’t exactly be an individuals fault if they were against the way things worked since they had no say in putting together the government to begin with.

@Earth Chan, true, honestly I really do agree with every word you just said. What I’m about to say is in addition, not opposition. You could join the government and change it from the inside. Run for office, become a lawyer/judge/police officer, become a teacher. Ghandi said to “be the change you wish to see in the world”. For my part I became a teacher. I can only hold one office but as a teacher I can try my best to give the next governor, the next police officer, the next judge the tools to not f it up for the future.

@seeUpee, I know I can’t control the outcome. It’s not about control. It’s about contributing to a goal. When you study ants you’ll actually see that they kinda sorta vote on when to move a nest. You can “see” conversations between ants as a new location is found, reported, explored by some, and ants come and go. Some leave a trail for a new nest, others ignore the trail not being convinced. Each ant contributes a pheromone trail to the discussion. When the next ant walks by it takes in the contributions to the discussions and eventually a decision is made. Im just an ant leaving a trail. Hopefully others see the potential for a bright future built on some of the same ideas of the past and future that I hold too. Hopefully my contribution leads our nest to a brighter future.

@wulfzen, As someone with multiple medical professionals in my family, the suggestion of a "moron bracelet" keeps coming up, for people who get sick from not following the pandemic rules. If you think it's okay to risk other people's lives for your convenience, then they shouldn't have to support you. Instead, it's more like, "Oh, you're retired? Too bad, we're drafting you to the hospital to deal with the sickest people."
Just say it's a religious event or a protest and you'll get a free pass
