Nice try, 5!
@Talon13, isn't it actually 1?
@DarthPlaugeistheWise, it may depend on the flow rate like @Drunk Pantless Uncle said
@DarthPlaugeistheWise, It's 5 because technically it's sealed off from 2.
@SmartAlecks, I demand someone track down the op and get the flow rate! These are important questions that need answering... not
@DarthPlaugeistheWise, the reason why they are saying 5. is because there is a line obstructing the flow into 2 and that 1 is to high up and would flow into 5.
In all honesty, it depends on flow rates from the faucet and how much can pass through the connection tube. If the first is greater than the latter then 1 would overflow first. Also, I'm looking for friends and am very fun at parties
@Drunk Pantless Uncle, it's Ok, I'm a lawyer and my first question was "what does 'fill' mean?" To the number? The next connector? The top? Overflowing? I'm a huge blast as well...
@Board Stiff, this is the type of stuff black social media posts on funny accounts to elicit likes. its not made to actually be mathematically accurate or logical, so thats why you wasted your time sorry
@Board Stiff, Ha! I'm also a lawyer and that was actually also my first thought!
@Drunk Pantless Uncle, The pipe is blocked
@Drunk Pantless Uncle, 5 is sealed off from 2.
@Drunk Pantless Uncle, disagree, flow rates will have little effect, unless the difference is extreme. The flow rate through the pipe would increase as the pressure head increases,
which is a linear function of the depth
@occasionalmutant, assuming there is not an extreme difference in flow rates, 1 would empty into 5, and 5 has no outflow. So 1 would fill until the water rises to the level of the pipe, and stay there until 5 rises to the level of the pipe. Then, both 1 and 5 would rise together (equal pressure heads from level of pipe). Since they rise together, 5 would overflow first
@Drunk Pantless Uncle, ill be your friend
@Rum Hamlet, ...yeah, you're THAT guy at parties. The one no one invited
@Venturingbud, exactly. i sit in my room 24/7 on social media and watch this happen. and since i dont spend time with people i dont have to lie: only those accounts that post memes that you would think were written in a different language (jive) are posted in a slideshow with a pic of rihanna and a heart on her one butt cheek and on the other youre supposed to like the picture to have a heart on the other one. stupid petty sh!t, and its only on black instagram account. its a boring fvcking realistic life i live sorry black people's dumbass social media pettiness becomes a target of mine
5. But if it was connected correctly 3
@Slaydesilver, Wrong, it would be 2. Come on, that's basic 2-d physics.
@Trump Repellant, 2 wouldn't fill to the top, the first to over flow would be 3
@TheHippie52, don't expect him to actually understand something completely.
It's 2. But 5 would be the correct answer.
@Sr5turbo, it would be 3 if 5 wasn't sealed
@Sr5turbo, except it's not. See HSA for correct answer.
2 all day long
@watzittoya, wrong all day long
'Fill' is the key word but 2 would have the most water in it first because of the position of the outflow from 2 to 4.
One will fill five. Five cannot fill two because the pipe is blocked. If the overflow from five can run into six, then 6 can fill three to overflowing. Three cannot filled four because the outlet is higher than the top of three. Therefore four and two will stay completely empty.
Water table, 3
@JAMA, oh wait the pipes blocked my bad
5. however if 5 was open it depends on speed of water and if speed is constant
I think it depends on how fast the water flows out of the pipe.
Oh I got this it's 3... damn no it's 2 ahhh cheating pipe it's 5!! *checks comments to see if I'm the only idiot*
Does anyone else see the goldfish?.. Or did I intake too much of the stuff Jerry got me
We are under attack by facebook posts
it's 1. it has to be 1 or 2 because 2 is blocked from everything else. and once the water fills in tank two to the level of the top of the open pipe, it levels out and wont rise until one fills up. or I'm wrong conpletely.
The recent cold front froze the connection between one and five, so one fills first.
This was a bumpy ride
If 5 didn't have that bar in its pipe 2 would be first
First 5 then 1 then 3. 6 will get some water from 3. 4 and 2 will receive none.
Who else actually started working it out before realizing ?
@Captain Penis, look closely at the connection between 2 and 5
@Captain Penis, lol that's how I felt
@Talon13, I choose to see the author's lack of system conditions as free reign to make shjt up, I define that line to be a one way valve that hasn't opened yet
