Hey, we all make mistakes.
@UmActually, this is going on my headstone when I die
@UmActually, and his mistake was being a cocky as$hole
@The Real Question is, how so? I viewed it as with a confession that he was ordered by tywin it would be enough proof before the gods to exact his revenge to its fullest and not get in trouble for ramming a spear in tywins face
@k1ngs4ndm4n, he was winning practically the ENTIRE time, but then he got too comfortable playing around with the Mountain trying to get a confession, and he got is head crushed. If he had just killed him and won the duel after he made his point he would still be alive, and able to continue his quest for revenge.
"What happens after he dies?"
"Lots of things, they just don't involve him"
@nothingofimport, Ummm, yes they do. He's helping to hunt down Pablo Escobar!
@nothingofimport, actually everything going down now in Dorne is basically because of him, so technically...
@nothingofimport, Eye see what you did there.
But he doesn't
"Today is not the day I die"
George: "hehe that's a cute line"
George R. R. Martin. The man who infuriates all his fans.
Maybe he viewed his death as an insignificant event, and he actually said, "today is naught, [because it's] the day I die."
@ieatu, That is both poetically bada$$ and completely in character for Oberyn
"It a good day to die" - Sarge (fearless leader of Red team)
Famous last words
He went back to narcos
Those Narcos aren't going to catch themselves.
Just watched this episode yesterday. Pretty Seriously messed up. *Spoiler alert for those who live under rocks and may just be poking out now.* I just wish Oberyn had been a bit more cautious. He knew he could win, but he took it too lightly at the last minute. He should have cut the mountains arms, immobilized him, then tortured him. Gruesome death.
