@TheMightyImp, I actually think mages are harder for new players because you need to learn to dodge and manage mana. 1. Pick knight (best armor and stats) 2. Lv up vitality to 30 endurance to 25 first 3. Walk with your shield up when exploring (costs nothing, potentially lifesaving) 4. Do valley of defilement last 5. Break controller cause the game is still hard

@TheMightyImp, Been playing the Souls series since 2011 literally got DS day one, loved it and went back for Demons souls and have been a From Soft ever since. I'm going to slightly disagree with Zombie here. I think new players should pick the Halberd class because 1, it's a really stupid strong pvp weapon but also gives you range, keeping enemies away from you while still doing great damage early game can really help you to learn the mechanics and controls. I would also spec some points into faith to get some healing spells just to help make you more resilient and save your grass for bosses etc when going through a level. My last bit of advice is YouTube, YouTube, YouTube. Unless you want to blind solo the game, which I understand if you do, then looking up guides/tutorials can be a god send. Especially when deciding what build fits your playstyle and what weapon upgrade works for you. Finally I have a question... How the fvck did you get a fing ps5?

@LaDarkProphet, I have three. No joke. Day one release of ps5 last November through shopto.net Ratchet and clank special edition (identical to normal apart from box and 'not for resale' physical copy of ratchet and clank inside. And a third one from Currys on their VIP scheme I bought the second and third just to see if I could given they were do hard to get.

@LaDarkProphet, Never sold one at more than RRP. Got one for my nephew a while ago. It takes a lot of 3am store refreshing, and having multiple store windows open at the same time being frequently refreshed, but I t was possible to get them. Should be easier now that you can order them direct from playstation websites
And then it locks you out of the previous area so you can't go back and explore that one section you missed
