Ughhhh, we’ve been over this, there are plenty of floppers in soccer, yes, but if you have never played and have never been running full speed with your eyes forward, and then some sweaty dude comes flying into your ankle or thigh or even shoulder checks you, then quit with these, because I played soccer for 13 years and it doesn’t feel great when that happens! Good day
@celtics313131, No one's saying people don't get injured in soccer, we're just making fun of the ones who would rather win on a technicality than actually play the game.
@CainCross , *cough cough neymar cough *
@celtics313131, Hockey players don't complain when they're blindsided into the wall...good day
@UglyNakedGuy, full credit to hockey players but they're also wearing a crap ton of padding and a helmet because flying frozen rubber hurts at 100 mph. But I've also had the only piece of equipment we wear (a shin guard) cracked in half during a soccer match and have seen about a dozen broken bones.
I’d say it’s more due to being taught how to take a body check (bracing), how to fall properly (don’t put your arms/feet right below you, often results in sprains or dislocations), and to keep your head up. All the injuries I have seen is due to someone not doing one or more of those three things. The stick is also, somewhat ironically, probably responsible for the lack of foot/ankle/leg injuries, as they’re more forgiving and carry less force than a persons leg with their full weight behind it
@UglyNakedGuy, um, they have pads and a helmet good sir! Hockey players are by far tougher for sure, but let’s not compare apples with oranges guy
Luckily I survived, because I had unlimited power on my side.
Well when you hold your hands behind your back, it's hard to balance from an unexpected blow. Which makes a sprained ankle a lit more likely.
Male soccer players. The women actually play the game with the rule, "there's no crying in football."
So rewatched the prequels lately and honestly I didn’t mind them as much as I was told to from the internet.
Thought the plot with trade & stuff was actually pretty interesting, the problem was the acting was so wretched & loathsome.
