Failure is always an option
I've said it before and I'll say it again, treasure planet is far and away one of the best animated movies of all time and is severely underappreciated
@jouze, I mean, I wouldn’t go as far as to say the best animated movie of all time but I totally can back you up on the under appreciated part as it has been by a long shot
@seeUpee, but you're both looking at story line and animation, not the score. As a musician, and someone who arranges choral/instrumental pieces, the score is like looking at a Van Gogh painting. Whenever Jim is seen doing anything heroic or cool, the electric guitar comes in on top of the 40 piece orchestra, and they get blended beautifully. In addition with that and John Rzeznik and the Goo Goo Dolls adding extra music, it's the perfect score
@jouze, I’m still a fan of its spiritual predecessor ‘Atlantis: The Lost Empire’ for a lot of the same reasons.
@jouze, this and Atlantis; movies that were made at the wrong time.
@megamanx181x, wrong time? Please explain? With frozen 2 out now, is it the right time? Bc I feel like kids are getting stupider
@seeUpee, oof good point, no one appreciate this!!!
This scene also showcases how Silver is a 2D animated character but his mechanical limb is 3D computer generated
This guy is gunna lose his s***t when he finds out that there's a book
@bigoltubtump, my thoughts exactly. Treasure Island is my favorite classic literature young adult novel. Pre-GPS days I was listening to it while driving on a road trip through PA. The story was so engaging, I missed an exit, and we took a 4 hour detour through amish country. It’s the perfect adventure story.
@bigoltubtump, i feel like i might connect with the book, because my dream for awhile was to graduate college and now that i’ve gotten my bachelors degree and i’m in the working world i’m lost without being a student. I find myself buying textbooks at garage sales wanting to learn more about the world and i’m not even paying to read these textbooks!
@theodors, it's a classic I would recommend
Honestly one of my favorite movies. Amazing from start to finish, and morph is one hell of a cutie
I'm not crying, you're crying. Shut up.
