Would our lovely German gal confirm wether or not this is true?
@InsaneWorm, Not the german gal but I'm also German and can confirm that this is true.
Apparently no one realized it looked this way until it was built so now they're changing it.
@MontyB, the swastika is one the most censored symbols in germany and probably one of the most hated symbols in the world, how the hell did this even get past the designing stage?
@InsaneWorm, can our lovely German girl also send some hot pics?
@aminalFacks, I've no idea. It's something that just shouldn't happen. Ever.
@MontyB, *gently puts finger on your lips*
You're my German gal
@InsaneWorm, also the carts people rode in where shaped like eagles.
@InsaneWorm, i can confirm this. The best thing about the whole story is, the holder of the parks name is "braun" as in brown and the name of the attraction was "adler" as in eagle. Sounds so made upbut there are a lot of articles about it in the german and swiss news atm. Even with video.... Hilarious
Germany: "Did you make huge swastikas...after I specifically asked you not to?"
Steve, is this true?
@A pet named Steve,
Sounds like someone had fun on that ride
(Also, you never showed me your Stando Power)
Is that a bad thing?
Given the history it seems logical. It would be like having a bunch of racist statues in america given americas past of racism.
I think you mean: "Nein!"
That looks like Zooey Deschanel comforting Hitler. I wonder what I could do with this picture
@Dr Grimmwell, nah, it's not her. This is from a german show called, Look Who's Back.
@aminalFacks, book and movie actually, both are fantastic. the book is, while funny, written to make you think about what would happen if he reappeared today. it's quite shocking actually
