I'm from Australia... you pretty much have to just chuck the whole leg away at this point. It belongs to the snake now. Source: "fvcking, fvcking snakes. fvcking jesus christ"
@Shadow Storm, Holy fvcking Christ.
@Shadow Storm, pretty solid effort from old matey to not die here hey
@Shadow Storm, I'm guessing tiger snakes are very venomous?
@AlwaysDownvotesAnime, yes... although, this is an Eastern Brown Snake. Also very vemomous. General rule of thumb: if it's native to Australia, it'll kill ya.
@Shadow Storm, If that was printed on more pamphlets I bet tourism would take a dive.
@AlwaysDownvotesAnime, I think you might have thought I was kidding... we have 6 of the top 10 most venomous snakes in the world, we have the most venomous spider, hands down, we have great white sharks, stingrays, box jellyfish, blue ringed octopus... crocodiles, kangaroos (they'll kick your skull in for no reason), emus (so vicious, we lost a war to them)... not to mention the heat (110° is normal here), hurricanes, Bush fires, floods...
This place is deadly. My advice? Just stay safe and go to North Korea instead.
@Shadow Storm, I know Australia is the land of anything and everything can kill, also part of the Commonwealth. One day I will visit. But it's an 18 hour plane ride so I will wait.
@AlwaysDownvotesAnime, I fly Cathay Pacific via Hong Kong to break it up. 8 hrs to HK, 11 hrs to Canada.
@Shadow Storm, If I wanted to go to China I would just to Vancouver.
@Shadow Storm, so as someone from Australia can you explain what the f*ck is happening here. Did he use the vice to stop it going up his pants and it's just a free trouser snake in there or did he have the head/neck clamped. Why is it not freaking out and biting him
@bigpapazero20four, thanks for this trip down memory lane. :-D
To answer the question.. snakes like dark places to hide from predators. In this case, it was his pants.
The clamp is there to stop him traveling further 'north'. To make the snake think it's reached the end of the cave.
If he were to wriggle his body at all, the snake would start to freak out and 'latch on' to whatever it could. That's why he's sitting so ridiculously still.
If you watch it frame by frame you can see a little line of venom coming from the snake as he pulls it out
@FP Waiter, and to make things worse... I don't think this is a tiger snake.. I think it's an Eastern Brown Snake. Responsible for about 60% of fatal snake bites in Australia.
"Snakes! whys it always gotta be snakes?"
@0ff brand burrito, mhm... you go first
Damn it Australia.
If Indiana Jones was Australian
@MaBawlsItch, needs more screaming.
In Texas we would just shoot the f*cker off
@CedoTheMad, As is tradition.
Now that’s a trouser snake if I ever saw one
add that to the list of things I hope not to deal with.
There's a snake in my boot.
The fact he was able to process the situation fast enough to stop it from going further is amazing
I was butt clinched the whole time
This was proven to be a fake snake but for a bit of fun
@omgjackt, now THAT is good Aussie humor.
oh wait what why is this here
