Nicest thing about a military town. Enough people have lived in Germany that everyone pulls to the right to let you pass. I had a car that happened to be the same work schedule as me. I'd get stuck behind him on this one road as he went exact speed limit (but they're all super low cause military vehicles). 3 days I'd pass him. Day 1, he tried to speed up??? (Apparently a common reaction). Day two, he sped up a bit as I started, so I downshifted and dropped the hammer to tell him "f off" and I guess he talked at work about it. Day three he hit brakes as soon as I cleared and matched me after. See him about 2 times a week, and he'll triple tap brakes to ask and I'll flash him if I'm in a hurry. Love Germany lol
@thrawnfett, germany is pretty awesome
@thrawnfett, What does ‘triple tap brakes’ mean, or do?
@Mawaneu, gets attention mostly. If you're behind and want to pass, you flash your headlights. If you're ahead and want them to pass you tap the brakes, sometimes hit the turn signal for a second. It also let's the person behind know it's clear to pass, since sometimes it's hard to see around them if the road is say curving to the right or they have a big truck
@thrawnfett, in most states in the US people will stay in the right and use the left only to pass. However from experience, the city drivers are idiots and cause their own traffic. And California is a crapshoot all on its own because I haven’t seen a single person yet here who will move over for someone else.
You mean bmw
@Natural Sarcasm , in Texas, it’s always a truck
@Theblackshawarma, and there is always a much louder one later
@Natural Sarcasm , nope… truck… you know darn well is a truck!
@Theblackshawarma, as a Texan that drives a truck and tailgates people can confirm
@Theblackshawarma, and we’re supposed to “drive friendly”
Make that 35 and that sounds about right
I’m just going to drive slower
@megamanx181x, turn on your hazard lights and take your foot off the accelerator, as you coast to a stop he'll go around
@Good Pineapple Pizza, oooo I’m so doing this
@megamanx181x, let me know how it turns out
@Good Pineapple Pizza, at minimum my car is totaled and I get a pay out check for being rear ended
@megamanx181x, ouch! check if he had a dash cam. the footage might prove him responsible
Let me set things straight. If I am in the far left lane, the zoom zoom lane, I intend to commit felony speeds. I don't care how fast you are going, move over.
@Sr5turbo, I'm already going felony speeds, fvck off, ill get out of your way when I pass the people I wanna pass and if you don't keep a follow distance I approve of then you're getting break checked fvcker
@TheHaxAreReal, go for it. It's going to hurt you more than me. Cuz I ain't stopping.
@Sr5turbo, guys guys guys, as long as the guy in front is passing those on the right that's fine. but once he passes them he should vacate the passing lane to let others pass. if we follow this rule we can get along
@TheHaxAreReal, if you're in the left lane and someone behind you wants to go faster, you move over. Period. End of story.
@Captain Swordsman, as long as it’s safe to do so and you are not in the process of passing someone. If you catch up to someone in the fast lane who is currently in the process of overtaking some vehicles, give them the time and space to do so without forcing them to speed up to levels that may not be safe for that driver/ vehicle.
@Captain Swordsman, and if for whatever reason they are taking an unreasonably long ass time doing so, kindly flash them to make them aware of this. But don’t create an unsafe scenario where you are driving right up their backside
@Sr5turbo, You know there are other roads than just multi-lane highways, right? And the dude is already going 10 over, or did you miss that part. Chill out a bit and be patient.
With the highbeams on
Two things: observe lane discipline; get over to the right unless you’re passing someone. Also, don’t ride people’s asses. It’s dangerous and a dïck move.
