I wonder what the cut off age would be for those that would remember that kind of slide. Because my current understanding of our overprotective society is that these slides are all now plastic
@Taquito Speedo, I remember those slides as a kid. Nothing like boiling the skin off the back of your legs to know that summer had finally arrived.
@Taquito Speedo, what do you mean "cut off age"?
@Sambob, well, are they still currently used?
@Taquito Speedo, yeah, my hometown has about three or four in two parks
@stripper cop , weeeell then........
@Kamitha, I just use rollerblades to ride down those slides. Much faster and when you hit the ground it's like you just got a speed boost.
@Taquito Speedo, They just took the one down that was by my Aunts house for safety reasons. It was about 15 or more feet tall, and it weeble wobbled when you tried to climb it. It was fun while it lasted
@CompleteSavage, it's dangerous shït like that that sticks in your memory the most 😄
@Taquito Speedo, I was born in 2000 and I remember them

@buzz killinton, *Kelvin
The slide temperature has no units so this picture makes no sense. A measurement without units measures nothing. I'm a delight at parties
@Not Dr Phil, the extra zero really bothers me, too.
@Not Dr Phil, and it bothers me that they used the sun as an example before the slide... seeing as that is the direct heat source for the punchline. How can the slide be hotter than it's heat source? I'll find you at the next party.
@Not Dr Phil, also using the temp of the sun from the image it would struggle to melt tungsten. I think they ment K. Anyway where's the party at?
It's actually 5778 K
10,000,000,000,000,000,0 what? Bananas? Also ,0?...
Shouldn't it say whether it's the surface or the inside of the sun?
