equal rights, equal responsibilities
@Deadkizz, most of them aren’t ready for that conversation though. They don’t realize that being treated like a man sucks. Only dogs, women, and daughters are loved unconditionally. Men are judged by how they can provide, and sons by their perceived potential.
@groundpounder04, they like to cherry pick the benefits and avoid the downsides. Most of the “benefits” they want don’t exist either like the wage gap lol it’s like how many times do we gotta go over this?
@Natural Sarcasm , I work in tech, super annoyed with the huge misogyny/not enough women in tech bs while I hear absolutely nothing about how sanitation is 95% male
@Deadkizz, equal rights and equal lefts
@groundpounder04, *Chris Rock*
@Natural Sarcasm , “same amount of pay I’ll take some of that, pay for the movies no fück that I don’t like that he can keep that” bill burr a genius
@CellSword, I work construction and almost every woman I’ve worked with doesn’t wanna do any work and give u an attitude whenever u ask them to do something like anytime u ask them to literally just do their job they look at u as though you’re completely insane like how dare u ask me to work while I’m at work. If I’m working with a guy and he’s not doing anything and I gotta work twice as hard cause I’m doing enough work for the both of us I’m gonna flip out on him and nobody would say I’m wrong but whenever it’s a woman for some reason I have to tip toe cause when I argue with them for doing nothing and making me work harder the same way Id yell at a guy (u know treat them equally) everyone freaks out and tells me I can’t talk to her like that I’m like y the fück not they say it’s different she’s a girl u can’t tell her she has to work cause most of them want the same jobs as men and equal pay but they don’t wanna actually do equal work they want special treatment and they’re an
@bobbylupo, embarrassment to the few woman I’ve worked with that actually do work as hard as the men and don’t expect any special treatment and I actually worked with 1 good woman who was more pissed off about it then anyone because she knows that no matter how hard she works or how much she does the right thing she knows that because of all these shïtty woman in the trade that just took the job hoping for a harassment lawsuit she’ll never be respected or seen as the same as a man on the job and I feel bad for her and women like her because most of these women bitching about equal r the same women that don’t actually want equality
@Deadkizz, equal rights
@groundpounder04, I'm in the medical field. A female oncologist friend told me that she didn't understand at the time how much she'd miss of her life in school. She finished at 33, now 40. Has been too busy working to seriously date. She wants to have a family and feels like it's too late. Considering in vitro but even at this point the chance of birth defects are elevated. I feel bad for her because she's super sweet but was too driven to settle down. It's hard to turn that female instinct off though. There's an unspoken cost of being a female driven into STIM. I know this isn't all females.
@Dangerous Dan Spivey, I think too many people don’t respect the fact that in order to succeed in any field that demands all of your time, you have to sacrifice your personal life. This isn’t gender-specific. Men who dedicate themselves to rising to the top of their field typically aren’t close with their families, if they even have one.
Men have a biological advantage when it comes to having both a career and family because their necessary role in conception is much less time consuming. It’s not discrimination, it’s biology. Even in those cases, they’re typically absent fathers (who have a really high chance of being a divorced, absent father).
@Dangerous Dan Spivey, what does the I in STIM stand for? Or did you mean STEM?
@CellSword, yes, my bad. Not sure what i was thinking when i put the I
@Dangerous Dan Spivey, all good man, more just asking in case they changed the terminology
Pro maneuver: disregard most women the same way you disregard most men then raise some baller daughters.
At least some of them admit that the want equal rights unless it’s something inconvenient
Funny. Known plenty of 'southern bells' who push mow the lawn because the dad was trying to prove a point.
Joke's on you. I'm allergic to grass.
