Those Sony TVs aren’t a joke. With 1080i they are still a beast. I had one back in the day in my dorm. I didn’t take it with me bc screw moving that thing again. Took three of us to get it up to the fifth floor
@seeUpee, My brother had one of those back in the day. He tricked me into helping him. Move it into his basement apartment and that is why I have trust issues.
@seeUpee, I had a 32 inch and I swear that fvcking thing was every bit of 350 pounds. I gave it to my ex's brother when I got a flat screen, and the basement steps were flexing so bad I thought they were gonna break
@seeUpee, I used to work for a moving company. I hated when people had Sony Trinitrons.
@seeUpee, I remember back then when we would do a lan party in my garage and play Halo, to get 4 TVs my friends had to ask their dads to borrow their TV. Good times.
@A Scientologist, is that because you live there or...?
We have come a long way from 100 pound 32 inch TVs
Just helped my uncle move one of those fat bastards from his upstairs room to the back of his truck last weekend, damn thing almost killed me... I'm so happy TV's are super light now.
Kids today will never know the pain of getting your fingers stuck underneath the box tv's
Still wasnt as bad as the floor bound console tv my parents had for YEARS. It was so heavy that we just left it at the house and bought a new one when the bank foreclosed. That was in like 99
“Flat screen tv.”
