It'd be better if Japan's bombing on the US was represented by a guy getting hit by another guy in a bike
This is accurate
And to quote history "we have just awakened a sleeping bear with the attack on America"
The thing I find funniest about all these atomic bombing memes is that they weren't even the main factor as to why Japan left the war. Not only was the full extent of the damage not appreciated at the time of surrender, but the firebombing campaign had already arguably been doing more damage to the war effort (albeit not in one fell swoop).
What ultimately pushed the surrender of Japan was the Soviets entering into the war on the side of the allies. The Red Army had just decimated Imperial forces in Manchuria, for example, and the US knew that Japan was already willing to surrender under the condition they got to keep their Emperor (which ultimately happened anyways).
Not only did the bombs arguably not save American lives as was later claimed, but they needn't have been dropped at all if Truman had simply put aside his tough-guy posturing for "total surrender" on the part of the Japanese.
What a slaughter
It be like that sometimes
I think maybe the second one should be America paving over Japan with island hopping instead of Hiroshima and Nagasaki
God this made my laugh surprisingly hard, The most sinful acts get me going
