I wouldn't ever fear whenever her parents would ask my opinion on controversial topics. I know my odds were 50/50 on swaying their view of me, but her parents could always count on receiving my opinion, perspective, and interpretation of any and all topics to be delivered with the utmost honesty and integrity. Whether they love me or hate me, they will never forget me.

Bringing up politics is a good way to destroy relationships. My bro at UPS accidentally started a debate war on break by brining up a news article about assisted suicide. Cut the group in half and they were all shouting, he kinda backed away. Someone said to talk about abortion instead (no idea why he thought that was smart), and the group split again but with totally different mixes of people. They started getting mad that they had "switched sides" or "betrayed" eachother as well as arguing the issue. I think this event highlights alot wrong about how people turn to anger with politics. And never bring up politics, Even with family!

PP is nice and all, but it should be defunded. In fact, everything should be defunded, all taxes should be abolished, and the state should be peacefully dissolved and replaced by the unmolested free market.
