Now I wanna see a cow in a wind tunnel
@Drunk Pantless Uncle, someone did a formal report on whether anime tiddies are aerodynamic. If you google it you should be able to find it. It’s not exactly a cow, but it’s pretty close
@darksky135, dont know why you know this, dont know why you felt the need to tell people, but gods bless you.
@Miss Leading, I’m sorry but I have no clue what that is. I found the paper again:
“Analysis and Qualitative Effects of Large Breasts on Aerodynamic Performance and Wake of a “Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid” Character”
Author is N. Rabino
@Drunk Pantless Uncle, I have the keys and know how to run it. Bring me a heifer that is smaller than 1' tall and 2' wide and 6' long. (Low speed wind tunnel is 4x3x6).
Bring me a small scale model and we can get it going up to Mach 4.25. tunnel cross section is only 6x6"
Thermal dynamics of a bovine.
Gotta say, I wasn’t expecting that last panel
@TheAgent, No one ever does
Hey, I am saving up for that gun! On my 21st birthday I'm gonna get me an FN FNX tactical. Only 8 more months, dammit
Anybody know what the second gun is?
@FPVeteranWolf, Remington R51. It's a weird little gun, a reboot of an old Pedersen design. Too bad Remington screwed the pooch on quality control with it.
@Branth, well crap. There goes that idea. I gues walther ccp is still the number one on my list of what I want
@FPVeteranWolf, you just have a thing for weird guns, don't you?
@Branth, well I want a comfortable concealed carry, but can’t stand the feel of a glock. It doesn’t fit my hand and feels like crap to shoot. To me, a good fit for my hand is a big factor for my ccp. And being able to get my whole hand on it
@Branth, i do have a thing for the beretta. It’s the best pistol I’ve ever used, in terms of fit for me.
@FPVeteranWolf, fair enough, I was just struck by the fact that both guns you mentioned were one of the only ones I know who don't use the Browning short-recoil operation that 99% of modern handguns use - The R51 uses the Pedersen locking block and the CCP is a pretty unique gas-delayed blowback system.
@FPVeteranWolf, ugh... And here I was prepared to like you until you mentioned the Beretta!
I can't stand 'em - They're just so huge in the hand!
I'm a Steyr guy - I really like my Steyr C9. That said, my EDC has become a Sig P365 in a pocket holster, mainly because IWB carry hurts my back now since it causes me to sit crooked.
@Branth, I will give both of those a look. I wouldn’t consider a beretta for any kind of cc. Even the px4 storm, which I like ergonomically, is way too bulky. I mainly like the m9 (or whatever civilian version I have, I always get them confused) for target shooting. But I have nothing against the browning system, though by coincidence some of my favorite rifles are also delayed blowback
@Branth, also, I recently got a Bersa thunder. It’s a well-made Argentinian ppk clone, operates and shoot well, but the duck bill on the back kills the webbing on my hand, and the gun really wallops for a 380. So it’s a no go for my cc since my follow-up shot accuracy is inconsistent.
@FPVeteranWolf, I love my Steyr, but it's a bit eclectic for concealed carry. It's hard to find holsters for it. I'd stick with a Sig, Smith and Wesson, Walther, or another major brand if you don't like Glocks.
The Bersa should be easy to find holsters for. I've heard they're unpleasant to shoot like you say though.
@Branth, speaking of Steyr, are they pulling out of the US? The US online store is having a massive sale and I only see one pistol offering on the site
@Branth, shjt, at 15% off, the AUG is looking good
