Nope planet’s fine, we’re the ones who’re f@&ked.
@pleroma77, Humanity has had a good run anyways. Besides, once we're gone, the slugmen can take over.
@Doctor Bees, I have ten on the reptaloids. It’s obvious zuckerburg is their harbinger. Prepping us for the takeover.
The planet isn't dying, especially not from fake climate change. Most of any real pollution or litter is coming from china and india by a wiiide margin anyway so start with them.
@Dephenistrator, yeah I see posts saying sh*t like "we failed as humans" I'm like um no I DIDN'T fail as a human I've done plenty to do my best but no good I do will ever amount to the BAD that huge countries and places like you've mentioned have done. The trash I didnt recycle didnt catch the f**king rainforest on for nor melt the icebergs
@Dephenistrator, you joking thinking climate change is fake? Like you can have your opinions on how to deal with it nd stuff but basically all actual scientific fact proves climate change is real.
Its kinda beyond belief for me that people still don't believe in climate change... Humans have had some amazing advancements in technology that have allowed us to track not only whats ongoing but look at it in a historical context. We can accurately discuss what the climate of areas were like throughout earths history.
@Dephenistrator, Also want to point out the whole india china thing mostly people quote the Co2 emmissions fron 2015 however they fail to mention that while china contributed around 28% the second largest was the USA at 15% India was 6% of the co2 emmissions. Also take into consideration the populations of these countries which are much larger than that of the USA or say Many European countries mean for the ~1.3bn Indians they still are 6% of co2 em' compared to the 15% produced by ~327m Americans.
America is only my example here not wanting to purely rag on america.
Additionaly a lot of the pollution created in these developing countries is creates in the manufacturing of goods for developed nations, plastics, steel, clothing etc.
Is a buyer not culpable as well if he knows its not from a good source?
@bonja, global is a religion by politically funded science with tons of failed theories that get pushed regardless of scientific accuracy, this making it a belief not science. Every time a doomsday date for global warming comes and goes, glossed over, first it's twenty years from now, then more, then one hundred more. That's the same exact pattern as a commercial doomsday priest asking for money and pushing back the doomsday date. That's not even close to my only arguement, just yhe saddest blatant lie of global warming, oh or maybe climate change after the warming part of the failed hold water for over twenty years. Global warming is my biggest peeve, i can't believe no one questions it with all the corruption (climate gates), failed predictions, and obvious money grabs by politicians that will never even stop forest life giving CO2 even if it was happening.
Documentation by scientists noting global warming corruption and data manipulation:
CATO institute, study quantifying the the lack of consistency between global warming projections and natural Earth evolution:
Global warming is politics OVER SCIENCE. We need to address real issues, not this imaginary bull.
@Dephenistrator, I am by no means an expert but I Do have a degree in environmental history and I have personal seen the data collated from the collection of long term ice coring and also examined historic soil samples. It is completely and utterly without any refute that the climate has been changing more rapidly in the last 50 years on a rate that is significantly faster than any other period of time in history that has not occured because of a catastrophic event.
Climates do naturally change over time but not at these rates. As for the articles its the same as people who disagree with vaccines no doubt you can find people who will scientifically argue against them and no doubt that there are people who profit from the notion of climate change...
However the overwhelming concensus in the scientific community is that climate change is real. Probably 95/100 of the experts in these fields would hold this view, and thats for a reason.
@bonja, I'm sorry, anecdotes of yourself as a credible source doesn't work on the internet, especially since every single time i bring this up someone claims to be first hand be apart of the research.
The only overwhelming amount of scientists and research that is media promoted is for global warming, their are many scientists against it but since it's a political sin on the scale of religious sacrilege to even exam the ither opinion how can this truly be debated? The debate from your side is always "there is no debate, we are done with that because we said so." Which is exactly what you have done. The global warning scientists and projects are seething with corruption, direct political influence, and falsified projections that natural evidence has proven wrong, both by the passing of time since doomsday claims were made and yes even from ice core samples. The truth is simply muddled. Did you even know that the entire solar system, increased temperature 4° last decade? X for doubt.
@bonja, the ways we have to actually be careful is conservation of wildlife that is hunted to extinction (looking at you african poachers, and others) waste buildup (current recycling tech isn't doing it for us), radioactive disasters (Chernobyl, Fukushima) these are our real environmental issues. There are some more, but the political blitz lies scaring people into giving money to the 'to holy to be questioned' global warming or else we all die by the 90s, or 2010s or... 2100 yeah that one works better because now no one will be alive to expose us that time! These kind of lies are not environmental, it's severe political, greed based money schemes. Period.
@Dephenistrator, I mean i directly prefaced it by saying i was by no means an expert. I also want to correct that i said i had a degree in environmental history when I actually have one in environmental geography not sure why I said that. But no I certainly have worked a lot with data to do with climate change and I have spent a lot of time doing field work felated to the topic. If you choose not to belive me thats fine i can totally understand why youd be suspicous of me a random dude off the internet.
However Facts are facts though. You can argue that its man made or its natural but climate change is real it would have to be one hell of a massive conspiracy to try to push that. There is just a vast ocean of papers saying how climate change is real again the vast vast vast majority of the scientific community agrees that climate change is real. While some disagree i tend to stick the main body of theory.
@Dephenistrator, look at the recent paris climate accords Im sorry but if the media in your country is telling you your going to all be dead by X date then that is obviously bull shjit. The mainstream scientific community gives a multitude of options on how we can change things and worst case scenarios dont spell apocolypse but do tell us of large scale struggles we will face.
@bonja, yes lets look at the corrupt paris accords. We have the US, not even apart of it and still exceeding the expectations setup by it. Then we have almost 100% of the rest of the countries involved not coming even close. Yet people here and abroad are criticizing the US for not being apart of it. It's absolutely incredible that they can get away with saying that. Ridiculous if it wasn't real. And it's not an elaborate hoax to simply peddle money to scientists that support climate change to support your political platform, or funnel money. It's simple greed unchecked. Nearly every fact from those papers is exaggerated, purposeful cherry picked, grossly exaggerated projections that do say we are gonna destroy the earth, falsified/changed completely (actually read the pdf i sent for citation, not that anyone thinks past the seconds they close mindedly discredit any citation in) or my personal favorite: INTENTIONALLY NEVER PEER REVIEWED BY SCIENTISTS THAT DISAGREE. (That's a biggie)
@bonja, sheer number of bought and paid for "Facts", as is done in politics in every nook and cranny, is not a majority of scientists agreeing at all.
And if you want to say "natural or man made" well those are two wildly different claims that would have two wildly different reactions. Since i am a believer in science i go with natural, and that cycle will continue to heat until it plunges back to cold again. We cant stop the ever changing natural cycles of the world through CO2. We aren't that powerful.
The only way we can "save" the planet is if we return to Stone age living. The planet will save itself by killing most of us
